The Yule Ball

Maik returned the smile and led the way, walking slowly, not really in a hurry to get there.
Elrohir walked a distance behind them with Sonia, wanting to have some time with her.

Sonia smiled still blushing slightly. There was so much she wanted to say, but was scared to say anything at all. It all seemed so surreal. She didn't want to mess it up.

"You're kind of quiet." Elrohir said after a while. "What are you thinking about?"

man you two have destroyed this thread you hear me destroyed iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttttttttt

(Uh, no, Darth Malik 1.0, what we did was stick with an rp that we joined. Unlike other poor excuses of roleplayers, we try keeping an rp alive. In my opinion this roleplay has as actually involved into a sturyline and not some random post contest. So unless you are going to actually join and contribute, I ask you nicely to stop posting and find something else valuable to do with your time. Thank you.)

Sonia smiled. "Just how something good always comes out of something bad."

This struck Descartes. Sonia was right. Out of every bad thing that had happened to them, something good had happened.

Elrohir smiled. "Always? Sounds good to me."

Sonia laughed softly. She smiled at Descartes before quickly turning her head away as a coughing fit hit her hard.

(( can i join please ? if i have to i read everything to get caught up))

Sonia laughed softly. She smiled at Descartes before quickly turning her head away as a coughing fit hit her hard.

Elrohir frowned and put a hand on Sonia's shoulder, concern etched in his face. "Are you alright?"

When Sonia finished, she slowly turned to face Elrohir. A soft smile played across her lips. "Yes, I'm fine. Just a nasty cough. It'lll go away."

Elrohir looked as if he really didn't believe her, but he didn't press the issue. "If you say so.."

Sonia knew very well that Elrohir didn't believe her. He had every right to. It wasn't just a nasty cough.

"Maybe we shouldn't walk there." Elrohir suggested. "You shouldn't be out in the cold with a cough like that."
Whatever was wrong with her, he didn't want it to get any worse if he could help it.

Sonia blinked. "You're just so sweet. What other option do we have? Apparate?"

Elrohir nodded. "We can at least apparate to the gates, if you'd like."

Sonia blushed. "Walking is fine with me, but I guess it would be better to apparate."

"Then we'll apparate." Elrohir said with a sort of finality in his smile. "I wouldn't want that cough of yours getting any worse."

Sonia laughed. "Of course not." she says with just as much determination as what Elrohir had said.

Descartes looked at Maik. Concern reflected in his eyes.

"Good." Elrohir smiled, holding Sonia's hand tightly. "Hold on."
He waved his wand, and with a pop they dissapparated.

"Not just a cough, is it." Maik whispered to Descartes, frowning slightly.

Descartes shook his head. "Sonia's immune system is very low. 'Just a cough' could be pneumonia."

Sonia blushed softly. She wasn't exactly use to apparating everywhere.
