Maik laughed. "For who? You or Elrohir?"

Elrohir slipped his hand up to Sonia's cheek, stroking it and running his fingers through her hair. Vaugely it occured to him that should anyone come it it would be very embarrassing for all parties involved, but somehow he relaly didn't care either.

Sonia's cheeks were a deep red. All coldness had left her body. She faintly heard the door opening.

Descartes laughed. "Me. SOnia would kill me. I don't think she could harm your brother."

"Nah, I think he could take care of himself." Maik laughed.

Elrohir dimly registered the door opening and pulled back, giving Sonia one last kiss before turning to see who was at the door.

Descartes laughed. "That's not what I meant, but yeah, he can."

Sonia heard the door open. She didn't want to stop though.

Elrohir looked up to see his mother standing in the doorway looking at him and Sonia with something like shock and holding some parchment in her hand.
Elrohir caughed slightly, feeling his ears turn crimisn.
"Hello mom, uh...Sonia's feeling much better now..."

"what did you mean then?" Maik asked

Sonia's color drained quickly as she spotted his mom. She moved so he practically hid her. "Is the parchment good news, ma'am?"

Descartes chuckled. "You just really have to know Sonia."

Elrohir's mother was quiet for a moment, still trying to register the situation, then shook her head slightly, coming back to her senses.
"Yes, they're your test results. It looks like you're doing well enough that you should be able to leave in the morning, given you keep taking Aslan's perscription."

Maik laughed. "You're probably right."

"Thank you, ma'am." Sonia says. She had the decency to blush. "I'm sorry."

Descartes looked at his watch. "I'm starting to get woried."

"Sorry for what?" Elrohir's mother asked as she signed the release papers.

"You want to go to St. Mungo's and see if she's ok?" Maik asked. "I guess they've been gone a long time haven't they."

Sonia blushed even harder if possible. "For, um, uh. . ." she wasn't exactly sure how to explain it.

Descartes nodded. ""If you wouldn't mind. It's just we haven't heard anything yet."

Elrohir's mother smiled and handed Sonia the papers for her counter signature. "Ms. Hubert, what you and my son do while I'm not looking is your buisness. I trust he's been behaving himself?"

"No, I don't mind." Maik replied. "How do you want to get there?"

Sonia nodded. She signed the papers. "Always." she says smiling.

Descartes shrugged. "I'm not picky. Would floo be too much?"

"I'm glad to hear it." Elrohir's mother replied, taking the papers back and putting them in a file. "You'll be free to go at 9:00 tomorrow morning."

Maik shook her head. "No, that's fine."

Descartes smiled. He walked over to the fireplace and waited.

Sonia nodded. "Thank you." she says blushing slightly.

Maik reached above the fireplace and picked up the jar of floo powder, grabbing some and handing the jar to Descartes.

Elrohir's mother nodded, turning to leave. "You're welcome. I'll be in my office if you need me."

Descartes got some and then carefully put the jar back. He smiled.

Sonia thanked her before completely returning to her natural color.

"Ready?" Maik asked, tossing some powder into the fire and stepping in. "St. Mungo's!"

"That was...embarassing." Elrohir said, laughing slightly.

Sonia nodded. "Just a little." she agrees laughing softly.

Descartes followed suit. He forgot how long it had been since he last used floo.

"At least it was only my mom." Elrohir said. "It could've been worse."

Maik tumbled out of the fireplace in the lobby of St. Mungo's, getting to her feet and dusting herself off.
"Well, that was fun."

Descartes, however, didn't come out behind her.

Sonia blinked. "How so?" she asks curious as to who would have been worse.
