SOnia seemed out of it. Not tired but lost in her own world. She was tense and seemed to be waiting to kill the first thing that dared startle her.

Maik tenatively tapped Sonia on the shoulder and informed her that she was about to walk into a pillar. This night was wearing heavily on them and her mood was worsening. The strange man wasn't saying a word, despite the fact that Maik was dragging him down the hallway by his collar.

As Maik turned her back, SOnia properly kicked the man where she guessed to be his groin and glared. His pants caught fire. The harder Sonia glared the hotter and more fierce the fire grew. The man screemed in Pain but it didn't affect Sonia. She was in a daze.

Maik whirled around and stamped the fire out. " What did you do?!" Sonia was beginning to seriously worry her. She had Sonia walk next to her were she couldn't get into trouble and ignored the man's groan's of pain.

Sonia sighed. She knew she was forbidden to use her special ability, ut it just happened. She looked up at Maik seemingly trying to see if she was pissed or not.

Maik stomped stoically down the hallway, wondering just how long it really was. The whole thing with Sonia setting the man on fire had kind of freaked her out but she wasn't terribly worried about it so long as Sonia didn't set HER on fire. Fire was interesting and all, but ice was prety cool too........

Sonia walked past Maik. She stopped after a few feet and poked the wall. With a little commotion the wall slid open.

Blinking in confusion, Maik peeked through the opening to see if it was safe. " How'd you do that?" She picked up the man by his collar and held him up to the opening. " Just scream if anyone's in there"

The man swallowed. He looked around and saw no one. He sighd. "Clear."

Sonia hit the man on the head. "Well t is my house. Why would they be going to MY room." she asked stepping into the small passageway.

Maik didn't have an answer to that. once again dragging the man by his collar she followed Sonia into the room. " We should use him as a shield more often." She suggested " It's awfully fun." She put another piece of gum in her mouth and deposited her old piece on the man's forehead.

Sonia sighed. She started scouring through a pile of books.

" Books? What are you looking for?" Maik dropped the man on the ground and sat on him.

The man umfed as Maik's weight pressed him into the floor.

Sonia sighed. "I know it's here." she said. She lit a lue candle that burned in black flame.

Maik poked the flame with the man's finger, ingoring his protests. " Cool candle." She sat chewing her gum and humming quietly to herself as she looked around the room.

It was obvious the house was more of a brick mansion. It was darkly decorated. Any other young wizard or witch would run time they walked in the door. It screamed DARK MAGIC.

Being an auror, the house disturbed Maik slightly, but since Sonia was her friend, she was willing to trust her. for now. Maik adjusted her wait to make herself more comfortable. The man was really bony, and it was rather hard to get comfortable.

The man groaned. "Curse *weeze* can e brought *weeze* back." he said.

Sonia spun around. SHe walked over to the guy and shoved Maik. Shethen jerked the man up. "How?" she hissed.

Maik rubbed her backside grumpily and glared at Sonia. Curse? What was this guy talking about? She looked around the room for a bed to sit on before she collapsed into a heap on the floor, which, she had discovered, was rather hard.
