Ben survived the destruction of EGO he was inside of EGO when it happened.

Ben is capable of taking much more physical punishment than Colossus (I.E. The Champion who fought both of them KO'd Colossus and couldn't Ben...) which is very much a part of being durable...

Colossus has never shown to be stronger than Ben...

I already explained why Glads in that story didnt ko him straight away as he did with the Thing. You cant compared both showings because Glads wasent written with the same powerlevel.

How he did better if he didnt hurt him once and was schooled? Perhaps the word would be last longer? Was Cain trying to beat them with the same motivation?

Im not talking about those examples alone either. Thing has better feats and has shown to be stronger. Like figthing back and forth the real Hulk, going against the "pc" Style Gladiator, original Champion, Original Sasquatch, Beyonder, and helding an oil rig alone.

What feats does Colossus have surpassing that on average.

Neither btw being top tier.

I will vote for the great colossus. Colossus is more durable according to the bios and he is not only trained by wolverine but he practices in the Danger Room. That place can make anyone a super great fighter.

The ONLY reason that Thing has so many more showings is cuz, well, he's ONE OF FOUR PEOPLE HEROES IN A COMIC. He's gonna get a buttload of showings because of that.

Now, when you're Colossus...ONE OF HUNDREDS...you tend not to receive as many showings as you would like.

If we cut down Colossus' team to four people, he would have just as many, if not more feats of strength than Thing.

Anyway, Colossus beats Thing 7/10 on pure skill alone.

every bio says colossus is more durable...every comic showing supports it......ego exploding was not canon....i wanna see thing survive inside a star for a few days......wolverine ****en slashed his face..and it didnt even do a thing to colossus....and as it was stated before colossus dosent get much showings.....like the thing.....the thing is a street brawler.....colossus actually knows battle tactics.and has superior fighting skills....and he is alot more agile and faster then thing.....colossus is stronger (slightly) far more durable ,faster,has alot more stamina.....and is faster and more agile.and smarter then the god dam rock....the only thing thing outclasses colossus in is popularity....its done....colossus takes it 9.9/10 times....10/10 if he goes to rage mode 😉

Please show me something... or anything from MARVEL themselves that says that Colossus is MORE durable, is faster...is more agile...is stronger...is smarter...has more stamina...and BEST of all is a better fighter than The THING.

Gladiator threw the car full of people at him and Ben caught it it and while he was in the process of putting the car down Gladiator sucker punched him while Ben was trying to save those passengers... Not to say that Ben was going to beat Gladiator but the fight wasn't exactly on the up and up as far as being fought fairly going one on one against each other. And during that time Gladiator was like a PC Supes. Compared to when he was fighting against Colossus he was the same Gladiator that he is now for the most part depowered big time.

proof it....show me a scan stating that at the time of him fighting colossus he wasn't at his usual 100% strength....both of them have had the same basic showings against him

The Gladiator Colossus fought was not at the same powerlevel. Not that Colossus fought him depowered or anything.

Its -just- the fact Gladiator only started to get written as pre crisis lite marvel way level -after- that x-men run. It was byrne the first to write him that way in his F4 run.

Read the narration on this one. Colossus was not knocked out cause he was still armored up. He took Champions hardest punches.

What is Things top strength feat?

I don't even think using classic Sasquatch is a good example. For instance against Thing he was already weakened from just transforming [stated] and he didn't even want to fight [still dominated the fight]. WIth Colossus he was toying with him, and Colossus's big move was a judo toss which didn't phase him since he even took his punch and didn't move.

Out of the two I think Colossus's is the most underated.

Edit: Bam! Snoopdogg proved my point is he underated.

Someone onced asked who Thing has defeated in battle. Has it been answered yet?

We all know he has heart, but its never led him to a victory. Or has it?
