Personally I have no problem with that incident even if Colossus did knock him out. It should be in his capabilities. Hulk was calm, disoriented and injured. He'd be in Colossus' league. Hulk's base was weaker back then as well if I recall.
"calm, disoriented and injured" - that's the key point here. Colossus wouldn't have a chance in a fair fight, so the writer has to come up with a circumstance to even things up (and keep both sets of fans happy).

A healing factor is a term used to describe the ability of some characters in fiction to recover from bodily injuries or disease at a superhuman rate. The term itself is most commonly applied to comic book characters in the Marvel Universe, although other quickly-regenerating characters exist.

how can hulk be inured? he has a healing factor.
It doesn't make much sense (unless he has a special weakness to dragon flame), but it's clear from the writing :
"Lockheed's fire must have hurt him. He looks so disorientated, so weak ... I cannot wait ... I'll never have a better chance to finish this."

It's not instantaneous. HF speed depends on the writer. Hulk CAN get injured. What don't you understand?

colossus can bench press hulk sure but hulk isnt gonna lay around and let that happen
bench pressing hulk for a superhuman should be like a normal human bench pressing two cotton balls
serioulsy hulk weights 900 pounds, what is that to a person who can lift 100tons(two hundred thousand pounds)?
if you do the math thats .4 percent of what he can lift
Originally posted by BatrocColossus also says "he's reacting fast". Colossus was pulling his punches in the first fight but the 2nd fight after admittedly saying he knows nothing of the Hulk Colossus combines his strength with his skill to take down Savage Hulk. It's pretty dumb to assume a allegedly weakened Savage Hulk cannot beat a teenage Colossus.
"Perhaps he's not as weak as I thought".
But the point is that the writer wants it known this isn't Hulk at his best, or normal level.
