MegaDeuce--I don't believe Omega would claim to have proof that God doesn't exist, just that there is a huge lack of proof that he/she/it DOES exist. As for evolution, just read some of the thread, from the very beginning...

Well, he acts like there is COMPLETE proof of Evolution, and none of God.

And I just want him to give me a few of his reasons.

perhaps you haven't noticed but this thread is FULL of proof of evolution, we are still waiting for TheForce to write evidence that it's not true and that a god is responsible for this

There is complete proof of evolution, and none of God. I'm not saying God couldn't still exist, just that there is nothing we have yet discovered in the universe that cannot be explained without reference to some all-powerful being.

A theory isn't something that isn't proven, in fact, it more closely fits that description if it is proven.

Let’s say I claim reindeer can really fly. And you say no, and I tell you to prove that they can't. You then have to find every single reindeer on the planet and toss them off a steep cliff to check whether they can fly or not. I can still claim that only one special reindeer can fly, or only on Sundays, or only one that lived in the 19th century, or one that hasn’t been born yet. And you can’t be sure you got all the reindeer.
If you instead tell ME to prove to you that reindeer can fly, I have to find one that can.

Evolution is a THEORY, supported by experiment, tests and thousands of biologists around the world, religious and not.
Creation is only a hypothesis, with NO proof to show, and only supported by strongly religious people, who not only lie and cheat, but also conduct terrible science! Want proof? Read this thread.

Also, as Darth has taken the time to explain: A scientific theory is more than how the word “theory” is used in every day life. A scientific theory is based on observations and experiments, and – when it comes to evolution – it is in good agreement with other sciences. It is THE best explanation for the evolution of life on this planet – Creation is not even a theory, it’s not even a competitor. It’s just a hypothesis. A theory that is so well in agreement with observations can be taken as facts.
That biologists do not agree on every single aspect of it shows the strength of science. It is the foundation of new knowledge.
So – offer me proof that evolution is wrong and that any divine beings exist. You won’t be able to…
