I don't agree with everything about christianity, such as descrimination against gays. Or havin sex after your married. I am not a very strong christian going person, I don't even like church. I just felt because everybody wanted me too and was expecting me too and my whole family is christian and i was going to christian churches that i should just get baptised and be one too.

I won't give you the "what if everyone else jumped off the bridge" speech, but I will give you some advice; DO THINGS FOR YOURSELF. Don't rely on what other people say and do. In fact, read some of this thread, then go look up the facts for yourself, to see if we speak the truth. Then come back and tell us how it went.

You don't even have to believe what we say. YOU find out for yourself, and YOU choose what you believe in, even if it's completely unprovable.

I choose to believe in what can be proven...but that's just me.

PO1987... Obviously you can think for yourself, may I ask politely why you still go to church and try to believe the Biblie (not a typo 😉) like everybody else? You should choose your own beliefs, not believe something just because your family does (same goes for evolution).

PO1987 -- Evolution may confuse people, but that's no reason for it to not be taught. Plenty of things are confusing that are still taught in schools. And like DR said, you shouldn't allow others to dictate your beliefs, that's something that you need to decide for yourself.

Well my family makes me go to Church. I mean, It would be possible for me to believe in Christianity to the fullest and have no doubts, but I still wouldn't like church. I don't like the atmosphere and it's just plain boring.

I've noticed that too. It's wierd. u would think they would want to get they're point across easier. It seems they're in it just for the money. what a shame
