Anyone who likes Avenged Sevenfold... I respect you. Anyone who doesn't... I have one question... WHY NOT?! Avenged Sevenfold is REAL metal revival and as a guitar player myself (and being sick of all this emo rubbish) I find Synyster Gates solos a breath of fresh air. I forget who posted it... but there was some wiener saying that their music overall just 'sucked' and I have a question for you! WTF ARE YOU ON?! What kind of crap do you listen to in order to rate A7X as 'mediocre'? Like I said, i'm a guitar player... and I can play Hendrix, Page, Allman, Clapton, etc. and there is some stuff that Synyster plays that I CAN'T! So how is that bad?

Hey Alpha Centauri... it's funny that you called me a 'fanboy' because (despite the fact that it isn't even a real word) that's exactly what I am! I was really impressed by your reply... maybe it was because you showed no mercy... and nobody else used that much compassion! But I would like to hear these so called 'better' bands that you think are worthy enough to run your smart-ass mouth over. Name the bands and then tell everyone what they do that would make you think that they're better, things that not only you find good, but things that other people would relate to. You just called Avenged Sevenfold musicianship gods, you're just another one of the Avenged fans who continually felch their overrated technical ability, as I've proven countless times and not going into it again. I can say they're bad because I think they are. They're not gods, they're just one of many metal bands. There was only one Guns N Roses, Avenged should stop trying to be them. Shadows has even started to dress like Axl, it's funny. Synyster has tried ripping of Slash with the permanent hat thing. It's ridiculous. Not that image matters to me, I don't hate their music. I just don't like it.
You honestly believe that I am going to be lured into the age old "So what bands do you like then?" trick? You have no valid opinion or perception Mr. "Tool are pointless noise, they don't make music." You're a self-proclaimed fanboy.

I like Avenged Sevenfold but I'm going to side with AC on this debate. Not that I agree with his opinion of the band, its just that voodoo sounds like an ignorant "fanbody" as has been mentioned. He questions AC's age, but its usually the younger poster that have to repost every 4 minutes with more thoughts or a slight change in what was said just minutes earlier.

on and by the way...the only song i'll listen to is Bat Country...because its about Hunter S. Thompsons "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"...the quote in the song/video...all from the book...thats the reason why i listened to it...ONCE...after that....meh
i used to be an HUGE a7x fan, i have waking the fallen and city of evil. when u first listen to city of evil, it sounds like all he is doing is whining. it made me really mad. but i kina got used to it. but i prefer the harder waking the fallen. m shadows needs to pick a style and stick w/ it. he's too all over the place.
