why isn't anything aloud?

why isn't anything aloud? no politics, no illgal things, pretty much anything with controversy. Shouldn't the Discussion boards be changed to random crap boards? Obviously some people can't control their rage or anger, so they lash out when someones opinion varies, but what's the point of discussion boards if you can't discuss stuff?

we HAD a politics board, and it turned VERY nasty and people's feelings got hurt, so in order to prevent this from happening, the rule is that it's better to be safe than sorry: no politics allowed

and of course no illegal things! what? you want this place to close down? we follow the texan rules cause the server is there and that's something you can not go around by

i fail to see how discussing the positivies and negatives of smoking *** (u know the 3 letter) can't be discussed. It's legal in parts of the world....just not the US. I discussed this topic in grade school, yet it's not aloud here. I'm not arguing....IMO it's just kinda stupid. but everyone gets their own opinion right?

yeah so? like you said, it's illegal in the US; last I checked Texas was a state in the USA

i still fail to see how discussing wether or not it should be legalized is wrong. It's discussion....not active participation in drug use.

I am suprised you were not allowed to discuss the legalizaton topic. I visit G rated sites that allow discussion about that.

I never saw said thread, nor am I a mod, but the idea is that if you're not happy with a decision you PM the mod/admin in question and ask for further context

Yes they can, and is better not to discuss the usage of Illegal drugs at all!!

I have my own website. I know about these things. The G-rated site I spoke about is very strict on things and would not allow things that could get then in trouble. Debates on any issue are allowed, it isn't as if discussing why something should be legal is going be be considered dealing drugs. You can't get in trouble for just discussing things, if that were the case then tons of sites would be shut down. I mean i suppose anyone COULD get annoyed and file some suit against the site. For example, I might feel offended by the use of curse words around here or the sexual topics... but does that mean nothing of that nature should ever be said or discussed? No...

wether or not it is illegal doesnt really matter, the rules are in place for a reason, you sign up you agree to them that should be enough
