why isn't anything aloud?

Each message board I have visited has some form of rules that you have to follow...

The age limit for this site is 13+...I see no reason to talk about drugs and sexual stuff--IMO

This site has a PG-13 rating

Raz is just trying to keep this place from going to hell--and I believe Raz is doing a damn good job of keeping KMC up and running---Plus the moderators that help Raz keep this place in good shape---👆

well said Shoukan

I wasn't really talking about this thread when I said there are things that can not be changed and can not be questioned.

so all this is doing now is taking up space, anywayz it wont result in anything anywayz, heck the why has already been answered

Politics and Religion) because it almost always creates trouble.
Porn and illegal stuff like drugs) because we could get in trouble with the law for this.

I know you dont agree with that whole law thingy but I dont think raz or any moderator wants to test it, most members are glad they dont test it

I am not trying to be rude here, but do a search on Google for the the drug issue. You can find reports people did for school, news sites, epinion.com posts, a history channel article on the topic, and this post: http://www.killermovies.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-18701 There is no way the owner of the site can get in any trouble for talking about this issue. If for some reason he/she just simply doesn't want anything about it on the site, then fine, but using the excuse that he/she could get in legal trouble is not realistic.

This site: http://www.unsolvedmysteries.com has people under the age of 13, and even they realize that debating about a topic such as that is not going to hurt anyone.

I am not trying to start trouble, I am just proving a point.

well that is what they have told me, I'm not a lawyer or anything. that could also be the reason, anyway I believe them more than I believe you. and well then lets assume raz just doesnt want drugs and all that stuff on his forum, there you have your why's

it might very well be that other sites allow those discussion at KMC they aren't allowed

can you please try not to make this sound like 1984, Big Brother.

1st. Striel...sorry to leave you hanging while i went to lunch and you went 2 on 1 with these guys.

2nd. As per my last statement before the one above this. I think I'll wait and talk to a MOD about this. Thanks Fire and Yerss again for your input. It has given me some insight as to the way things go.

My question from my original posts still stand...But only to mod's.

*and before any of you fly off the handle at me. I AM happy with the site, i'm not complaining....i'm questioning. From my experiences...all the mods are great guys/girls and i'm not here to step on toes. I just don't understand why sex and vulgarity is acceptable on this site, but not the issue of discussing marijuana legalization.

djee, link, about your first point, wtf??? two against one? what you think we're doing here? kickboxing???

sex is also not allowed her, if you point a thread about it to a mod, (s)he'll close it

Which thread are you talking about?

The one Striel referenced is open, so I don't see the problem.

http://www.killermovies.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-18701

*does a little dance*

hehe

Why did you think it was closed? 🤨

perhaps it was thrown to the second page?

I didn't. I was showing them that you did have things like that on the site, and they said you didn't allow posts of that nature because you could get into legal trouble.

you get awful excited when it comes to discussion there yers. Obviously u know i wasn't talking about kickboxing. What i was talking about is the fact that i started the discussion and kinda ducked out for lunch only to see what a debocale (sp?) this has become.

yeah, it was tai-bo 😄
you said two to one, like fire and I were out to lynch striel or you

Talking about the pros and cons is fine. Promoting is a no-no

no i said 2 on 1 as in...You and fire are against the idea of questioning rules and the general structure of the site, and myself and Striel feel that questioning (not belittling) the rules of the site was ok...being that this is a Questions forum. At no point would i assume either of you to be picking on her. You just had 2 opinons for every 1 she shared. hence the reason i said 2 on 1.

than I misunderstood, sorry 🙂

Of course the promotion of doing illegal drugs wrong Raz. And in every forum that i've discussed (not promoted) the use of marijuana. You sited somthing about nothing of illegal nature on the site, it being a no-no, you guys possibly being shut down, and that i need to read the rules.

But i have read the rules. The closest material that relates to this topic that i could find is this

For example, narrow-interest or minimal activity topics may, at KillerMovies' discretion, be relocated to a more appropriate discussion forum, or deleted entirely. KillerMovies or its assigned agents also reserves the right to prohibit or delete discussions that are thought to violate applicable law or that may be harmful to other members, the sites that comprise KillerMovies, or the rights of KillerMovies or others.

But discussing marijuana use does not violate applicable law....i do however agree that anyone promoting drug use is violating such rules.

Like I said, talking about it is fine. I never said it was prohibited.
