Hey, I'm a moderator! Now I get to say what I think and alert this thread to the big man himself so he can tell you why this and why that.
Political and Religious topics are banned cause there always ends up some huge goddamn argument that everyone gets made and lots of bashing and swearing and whatnot.
Illegal things are illegal, so duh! Pro-pot threads are closed. Debating the legalization of drugs is different since it is an honest question rather than, "Pot is great," which it is not. Plus, kids read KMC, and it could...influence them, if you catch my drift.
Same reason why porn isn't around here.
And it's not a G-rated forum if you talk about drugs, Striel. Movies are rated PG-13 or R for including drug reference, depending on the reference. G-rated movies are for little six-year-olds.
Captain Rex, it is a G rated forum. They have very strict rules, but they do have a debate section, and they allow debates about religion, politics and even debates about whether or not drugs should be legalized. *gasp*
I don't think you guys have any clue about the difference between debating an issue and actually promoting a product.
Errr.. This IS debating.
Raz DID say that he did not have a problem with drun leagalization discussions, but when it gets out of hand nad turns into a Pot is good or whatever, then It gets closed.
Also Raz wants to keep this a positive environment. If we start a big political/religious dicussion, It could and has very quickly become a Bash-fest. Then Other people take this bashing thing into other forums and it degrades the site.
