compare the number of jedi you know that turned dark, with the number of darkies turned to light 😛

Thematic. GL created a Galaxy where returning from the Dark side is impossible, as Yoda makes clear, and then makes Anakin the singular, after-six-films plot-based exemption. The exemption proves the rule and I will not break it. You go down, you stay down.
