Oh, yeah. I'm wracking my brains thrying to outhink Varm(USH) on this one. For every solution I come up with, I right away see how easily it could lead to disaster. That last post I just made too me over 30 minutes to finalise. I kept deleting chunks and starting over. I just don't think that whatever we do, that this part isn't going to go well for us. I'm pretty sure we've been set up by Varm and / or Kathya. I'm sure Gallagher's uneasiness is about his dreams though. might want to eep the Abbot's safety in mind.
Can I ask you guys on Spiridos about the logic behind how you are working there?
Because I think you should remember that YOU guys are the policemen tasked with bringing order there. You have proven very ready to call security- and now the situation will indeed become rather official- even though rather the point of the whole thing is that Spiridos' official capacity to deal with the criminals at the hospital is zero- you were told that the Order is fairly sure the authorities are actively in collusion.
So if you think Varm and so forth are part of the drug problem, getting officials involved was the absolute worst thing to do. They'd be trying to protect him.
We were told that the Government was possibly involved, and only that the authorities were unable to prevent smuggling. I didn't think that they would be unable to arrest someone for murder. I didn't think that that meant that the security force was in on it too. Whether or not Varm is in on the drugs didn't enter in to my decision to want to call the cops. Upon finding a body, I thought security were the first people to call.
Ah. Well... Oops. By the way, I did think of something today, but I'm not sure what to do with it right now. That thing about a woman telling a man to turn a gun on himself? I was thinking that that would be Kathya ordering Varm to suicide himself to somehow screw us up. When Zaland and I have him boxed in, I bet he'll shoot himself. What do you think?
