So the grab is no longer necessary, we just need out before I end up as a chair... Thank you Ush. Switch our doable mission with one that's nearly impossible.

Yes, Ush, I think Rex stands a good chance of buying that plane ticket today...

There's a loooot of reasons why we need to get out of there as soon as possible 😛

I will say this though from Xaviers point the Bureau defently isn't in full force here as they have the local militia doing what seems like important work with a quarintine so I'm thinking we still have a lot of loop holes we can exploit on this planet for the time being.

Then it seems to me that you planned this from the start, and never really were going to give up that extra XP at any time.

You're worse than Palpitine. I'll be joining Rex.

Of course, that's the point- last story the Bureau were manhunting you guys and had huge resources. This time, there is only a small local presence, thery have to use locals to do most of their work.

Only if they positively identify targets will they call in extras- Helkin ended up calling in the manpower (pigpower?) for much of that quarter of the Galaxy. And even then they take time to arrive, so the point is that there is only a very small Bureau presence to worry about in this story.

Oh no, the extra xp is genuine and you'll get it.

It's your planning that was in error- you should have snatched the parts at the same time as getitng the generator. True, this way you don't split your manpower, but what you do do is incriminate yourselves ahead of the big snatch.

Well that's good....because those were just insane numbers of them we faced before....so even if they do figure us out we could still get away before more of them come, so long as they don't get a lock on our ships' transponders....

We Darkies seem pretty prone to those "planning errors," as you call them.

Have we EVER managed a plan without huge flaws?

Never had a 100% success, no.

I did in fact hint several times that it was bad methodology to spread out your criminal acts and you should do them all as quickly as possible, but it seems that was not heeded.

No decent criminals ever perform major crimes just after they did another spate of crimes- the police would already be out and about looking for people. What you do is strike fast and get away before any law enforcement gets itself together.

Nope....the Ghost Citadel actually went off fairly well I think, all things considered, except for the whole abandoning me on the third floor thing, and leaving behind Takuan's tablet because they forgot to tell me to grab that as well....well, Rand 'dying' was a bit of a hitch, but who really cares about that? 😛

Well, Ush, when you said to do them quickly, I think everyone understood that to mean as soon as possible. Thus the starting on the XP grabs. I also seem to remember something about having to wait to start the generator grab anyway.

But no matter. Whatever it was we were supposed to plan, I think we can all say that we've stayed in character so far. 🙄

Oooh, no, I never said to do them early.

No, you simply kept pestering us to hurry up....

But that was long after you decided to do them before the main event. I wanted to hurry you precisely because you were delaying that event! If you had done it all at once, no need to hurry.

Hmph.

Hmph.

The moral of this story guys always listen for hints by Ush.

No, the moral of the story is to always expect Ush to do the worst possible thing there could be.

"Ush-ing" is to RPing what Murphy's laws are to the real world.

😂

Quite honestly, I was just waiting for something to go wrong, as it always does with us and it wouldn't be the dark side if we weren't constantly facing some sort of nastiness....just didn't think it'd go to hell like that.

Yeah, I'm all for a gradual descent into our usual hell, but this is like getting tripped of a cliff and falling about six circles.

Though thinking about it, this is fairly consistent with our "oh shit that wasn't good and it's all gone to hell" things so far that I've seen....
