Merely for moral support, of course. I wouldn't dream of using it for legal purposes in the event of our untimely demise.

I do seem to remember mentioning earlier that things only ever get worse on Spiridos- the no-pressure start, then followed by this rapid descent into extreme evil.

As I believe I have talked over with Tpt a few times, the Jedi plot is meant to represent the general vibe that things are going badly wrong with the Republic.
