Ah dearie me, doesn't time fly? Except for the Renegade plot, which WAS flying pretty fast but then had to stop dead to wait for the Jedi to catch up. Oh well, always a risk.
Anyhoo, everyone is more or less synchronised now as we approach the final act of each storyline, each of which is definitely getting a set piece finale. Still a final act can take a little while, and there are certainly a few events to go yet, so the game isn't about to end next week or anything. But things now are approaching closure- on Newhaven, the Dark Siders know the stakes as they make their big grab-and-escape. Thier plan is coming together, but the Alpha Hunting team of the Bureau is seeking to spoil their day, and Rogan looks forwards to the Hunt.
On Spiridos, Andro and Gallagher have got their case- but how to bring prosecution in time? And is Varm just going to sit back and let them mess around? What relevance are Gallagher's worries?
On Charaeus, the final assault on the Cult's headquarters begins. How well defended the Ziggurat is, no-one yet knows. And what does the Civil War within the Cult, that Marcus and Vlad have discovered, portend?
On Rekiarius, Xeth's maddening hunt of his own is finally coming to an end. On this ice world of no comfort, can Xeth's group discern the purpose of the Union, and their relations of Charaues? Can one of these Union operations finally be prevented?
And on Cassilis, a depairing Roan watches as war comes to the midst of the Republic, and he knows not his enemy or the stakes that are bing played for. His visions lead him on to a path of violence that he seems to be in the midst of; is this really the only fate possible for Cassilis- and if so, why?
Time for resolution and revelation (especially, obviously enough, in the Jedi thread), so let's make the final reel a blast!
Andro is HOPING Varm tries to stop him. But not 'till after he ties Mirani into the smugglimg/murders. Also, had a though about making the arrests, when we get that far. Do we just say We're Jedi, you're coming with me, and haul of the survivors of the ensuing battle? Or do we call in someone to take them away? Are the Jedi the jailers as well as the police? I guess what I mean is do we take them away ourselves, or who does that?
Yeah, and I'm looking forward to the OT game. Always wanted to play a smuggler type SW character. That, and exploring the start of the rebellion should be fun. Although I have no problems at all with the PT game, it is admittedly kind of depressing, and I know that's the point.
I thought you might ask that in thread, but I can handle it here.
You can signal to the Order to move in when you see fit. They actually have a small blockade ready to come and ensure no-one can leave, but it will take a while to get there. Proving your authority might be difficult before anyone arrives to confirm it, but legally, yes, yo have the power to detain also. One thing you cannot do is rely on local security.
