I like to think that a good part of our knack in this sort of game is getting to the heart of the source material.
Obviously all games are the interpretation of the GM on a subject and the SW Galaxy we re-create here is manifestly different to the main films one, with all its Force Moos (our nickname for the Lady's minions) and Dark Siders running around. And it is also tinged with certain styles of gameplay (Richard is a Cthulhu-bred GM (noit literally!) and loves investigation games).
Yet I like to tbink that they are more srespectful to the original work than, say, a lot of the EU is. And in as much as that the pull of these games for players is that they are trying to re-create such worlds for RP purposes- to see what it is like to BE a Jedi or Dark Sider or Imperial Office or what-not- I think you are hard pressed to beat what my brother puts out.
Of course, a GM puts out a lot of original work too. My brother's original work is f****ing evil.

Damnit, making me all curious about stuff.
Though I'm not surprised at all.
It was not that scary though. Rogan was just a powerful physical threat . Sienar was really scary- a person who is so evil and cunning while pretending to be a saint is the best possible villain possible. I really envy Gallagher`s player for such opportunities. I wonder about Lady as well.
Well, in most stories good villains and anti-heroes interest me more than heroes anyway.
Yes, the villains that can mess with minds are the most creepy and dangerous. They can leave a mark even if physically defeated or even destroyed, like the villain from Seven. Palpatine corrupted galactic goverment as well as the Chosen One. I am looking forward to see true extent of his Darkside mastery.
By the way, Ush, I have been wondering about this for the same time- it seems to me that basic team of love is not present in your games, even as a background. Do you dislike it in role-playing?
Of course, there really isn't any place for love in the Star Wars games. Half the players are Jedi, with that whole restrictive rule thing. And the other half are Darkies, who are more likely to chop each other's heads off than bond. 😖hifty:
That won't stop Galder and Rianna from getting it on at some point, though. It'll happen. 😄
