Yeah, I go between dying of laughter and wanting to scrub my brain with a cheese grater...

Ahh, that was a good moment...Richard's games are more about you wanting to shoot the GM than cry, I think.
He did once flummox a player so much with an in-game offer of a sandwich that it burned up the entire play session though.
Okay, that's a story that I think I need to hear.
And quite frankly? You're both evil and insane 😛
Ush can do the sandwich story better than I. Though I must point out any evil that occurred in that story was unintentional. Unlike the whole "getting bricked up alive in the sewer wall" incident that happened to the same player in the same game.
Love is difficult to do in RPGs, as in the situation of choosing between your love OR that special sword that gives you five extra attack dice nearly all the players I know wouldn't wait a heartbeat before picking the sword.

Well, if all I want are shiny swords I would play Diablo. True roleplaying requires understanding character`s motivations, getting cool powers should be bonus, not main motivation.

Sienar is THE most frustrating bad guy.
I agree. Although I don't have the history most here do, I had a hard time imagining anything more sinister than he. I can't wait to return to Andro, to see the path he will go down in his search of Galagher. In reference to what Brith said (by the way, pleased to meet you Brith. I thouroughly enjoy the universe you and your brother have created here.)
Anyway, on the discussion of emotions. I try to play emotionally, with Kyle as well as Andro. Kyle is my attempt at a sarcastic comedy type. Andro started out in my mind as an all-business warrior type. Obvioulsy that's how his template came about. Like Brith's example of the player always choosing the cool sword, I worked hard at making Andro as deadly as I could. I just wanted a Jedi killer, and that's how I started playing him. You would not beleive how the Spiridos mission frustrated me at first. I spent 95% of that game as a warrior without a weapon. It forced me to think, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As I caught on, i tried to change Andro with it. He's still as deadly as ever, but hopefully he's no longer a mindless Jedi soldier.
Agent Andrew on the other hand, is intentionally a focussed (though not mindless) killer. It's my stab at a fish-out-of-water theme. He's thrust into a world totally unliek the one he spent his time in, and to me it reflects the faact that I am thoroughly confused with the way 'magic' works. Hopefully, he and I will learnt o finction with the team better as time goes by.
I hope that all made sense, I just got back from my business trip and am very tired. But I wanted to catch up.

Try being a Darkie whose first instinct when there's trouble is to kill whatever is causing it (assuming it's not themselves) in a similar situation 😛
Yes, Newhaven drove me insane...
Yes, the Bureau should drive all Darkies insane, which is why it is so important a s aplot point, or Darkie games would be as dull as ditchwater.
Andrew's view on magic is about perfect. In fact, none of you guys knowing much about the World of Darkness suits the Techno game perfectly so long as you can wrap your head around the tech. In many ways it is a better epxerience than any vets could have.
Andro had his psycho turn at Droben, of course. But now he will have to bump heads with Sienar again, and trust me, his frustration has only just started.
Long story short with the sandwich- he thought it was a trap.
Anyone want the long story?
Well, contrary to Andrew and others Joachim has some knowledge about vampires and mages, and it interests him, he has something of mad scientist vibe in him.... He would go far for "greater good".
Could he realize that Technocracy and Deviants use effects that are fundamentally similar in nature even if Technocracy`s way is less sellfish, safer and better for humanity`s progress ending in ascension?
Gallador wanted to do more and go farther that Jedi were allowed to... a very dangerous mix of curiosity and idealism- and he gave himself to the Darkside to such extent that he has to constantly struggle with his emotions and weakness, and lack of control over his destiny- he has no less insanity than Galder, though he deals better with it thanks to stronger spirituality and making long-term plans. He dreams of transcending the division between Darkside and Lightside.
Commisar Esgabath is just a sellfish, autocratic person who was banished by his family( lesser Boyars from Tasker`s Crown) because he tried to usurp power from his elder sibling, whom he considered lazy and incompetent. He wants to prove that he is better than others and worthy to be among the leaders of New Order. I feel a bit ashamed of having fun in roleplaying such "*******".
Kahjal, Sorcecer from Prince of Persia- well he just wants to kill the Vizier, and wouldn`t mind dying in the process. It doesn`t help that he still can`t stop admiring this guy a bit...- He dreamt of being like him- the ultimate Wizard who knows no limits- at least until his idol didn`t show his true nature by murdering his entire family.... Oh, and did I mention that the woman he fell in love with sided with Vizier? Give this guy a hug from me.
Character from Matrix isn`t developed much- he is an independent and curious spirit( all of my characters seem a bit curious) who is still questioning what he is doing, and would like to understand his destiny.
