RP General Discussion

I'll just keep it short and say that all my characters are nuts in some way, though obviously Rianna's the most insane and most violent 😛

Lessee...

Agent Jordan isn't exactly very fleshed out in Technocracy. He usually just takes orders and enjoys trouble-shooting, literally.

General Coll is very smug and arrogant, like the Imperial officers seen in the films.

Galder is Galder. If you don't know what I mean by that, you don't need to. 😛

Shing Yu is likewise not as fleshed out as I'd like him to be. He's a brave warrior with a bit of an attitude.

And Ares is Ares. He and Galder have been around the longest and are the most developed. He's crazy.

Looks like everyone's describing their characters, eh? Is it mandatory? 😛

I think we're just bored while waiting to hear the sandwich story.

OH well let's see how to describe my guys.

Janthis what to say about him but he was born for epic wars like seen in the clone wars since he himself is a clone. Anyways with the major battle long behind him and a tired war veteran he is all he sees left infront of him is massacres. Worthless battles where instead of fighting worthy oppenents he has turned into an executioner where he kills women and children along with feeble old men. This has caused him to become a heavey drinker although that part hasn't been seen yet.

Xavier is weird. The best way to describe him is that he truely is emtionless in that he feels nothing. The only person he ever truely cared for he killed. He doesn't care for power or money he simply wants to have the glory of defeating everyone in battle or dying in one. He basically could be a jedi if not for the fact on the inside he wasn't as insane as Galder or Rianna

Berserker well I haven't had a good chance to really flesh him out but basically he is a very good guy in that he truely wishes to help everyone but at the sametime in battle he can loose his cool.

Could he realize that Technocracy and Deviants use effects that are fundamentally similar in nature even if Technocracy`s way is less sellfish, safer and better for humanity`s progress ending in ascension?

Tricky to answer, that, because it really two different issues.

First of all- all Techno characters can, in theory, realise the base similarity of magic and Inpsired Science. Once your Enlightement reaches a certain level it is simply impossible to deny. Put it another way, if you are psychologically incapable of making the link, that would actually be an unbreakable bar to your progress in Enlightenment.

The more you have in such areas as Cosmology, Subdimensions, various Lores, the more likely you are to suss it out yourself. Some people at various clearance levels might even just be told. Thing is, though, we're really talking at such a high level here in that you could probably put all the personnel who know it in one building. mages are rare, powerful mages amazingly so.

As for the thing about the Union using it less selfishly- that is very much an issue to have big big debates/discussions about...

Well, I was writing it from Technocracy`s point of view of course. Personally I prefer a good old fireball to a freaky gun... 😈

EDIT- actually, no

General Coll kicks Vader repeatedly then plays with the buttons on his chest to shut off the life support and runs away!

Vader reads this thread, btw.

Damn his arcane sorcerer's ways...

People whio cast aspersions on those ways don't last...

However! I hope this is an object lesson for the Imperial military players, about how it works.

Don't be afraid, be demanding?

How about 'don't be dumb'...

Absolutely.

Vader threw you when he said he thought that was Lomax's job. He wasn't shooting you down, he was just pointing out.

Like I have mentioned before, you can get away with absolutely anything at all on the Imperial side so long as you are right. You stake your life on being right sometimes. But it's the way to get ahead.

Good to keep in mind...

Are there further Imperial vs. Rebel games planned?

Second one is actually written, I believe.

Could you tell anything about the next game?

Will the situation be considerably diffrent, for example Rebels being the more active side?

Actually, yes, the next game is Rebel-centric. For all the troubles the Imps have in this game, it's hard to say they haven't got domination, what with the task force and the huge army.

The Imps will feel up against it next time.

So it would be more like confrontation with Rebel military? But Empire still should have superior firepower.

Will some years pass before next episode?
