Ah, I understand. Though do not feel limited by people 'calling' templates. I am not limiting them to a certain number, and you can be any template you wish to choose from.I will start making a basic introduction thread to character creation very soon.
Just saw this on THEFORCE.net:
TFU's Secret Apprentice Named & A PC Explanation
Posted By Mike on July 26, 2008
NZGamer.com is reporting that we have a name for Darth Vader's secret apprentice in The Force Unleashed and it's Starkiller. You might remember that this is the original last name George Lucas had intended to use for Luke's last name in A New Hope.
Cool name for a Dark Jedi, right Rex?
I knew it was bound to happen some time or other, but it is still a nuisance that it finally was used for someone so overhyped and overpowered...
Galder Starkiller is the name of my character, for those that don't know.
And Lana, I'm willing to bet that he "has no name and just goes by his code" or something...

According to Wookieepedia, Starkiller is just his code name and his real name is Jacob Nion.

How overpowered are we talking here?
Also, I don't like the idea of a Vader apprentice, it seems weird.
I'm with Bardock, it does seem a little weird.
I guess Vader has in the films established the idea of wanting an Apprentice who we will then use to help himself overthrow the Emperor but... meh...
Still, they say it's GL backed, which at least lets me feel slightly more comfortable about the amojnt of Dark Siders in my games.
Presumably said apprentice has to die horribly in the end though? He's hardly still around by ANH, is he now?

I guess the Apprentice idea was in ROTJ, but Vader approaching someone and being that kind of Master just doesn't fit with my view of him.

Well, as I see it, Sith seen in films are extremally powerful. Even Aprrentices, like Maul or Dooku, are beyond the power of most Jedi Masters. So I could see Emperor or Vader having few not powerful cultists around, as long as they are signiificantly inferior to them. You could even use a force users without the Jedi training, like that Bureau guy that hunted us in Darkside game, was able to sense force users.
And without Luke around, and Vader hating Emperor, and knowing he can`t take him, him training apprentice for help sounds reasonable.
