How are your games related to Ush's?
The Retrospection games (the ones that Rex is running) are all mini-games revolving around a single character; the character's we're all playing in them are characters we use in Ush's games, basically exploring something that occurred in that character's past. It was basically originally done to kill time waiting for PT to start up.
They're fun 😊

Oh, so it is based on the OT campaigns?

It depends on the game and character involved. Some are OT, some are PT. Brothers and Hunter/Hunted are OT, and Home, Cold War, Trials, Puppets, and Learner are PT. Trials completed, and I think Hunter/Hunted is about to finish up.
I think that's all of them...
And yes, I have two different ones going 😛

Will Rex's game be finished before Ush's starts?
And does it have influence on Ush's?

It depends on how much longer until Ush's game starts, but a few will probably not be done yet by then.
And since they just really go into the background of the characters, not really. I'd say it's more that Ush's games have influence on these ones, but these wouldn't exist if not for his games.
Yeah, a few will be lingering on for some time, running with the old rules. But I hope to have most of them wrapped up by the time Ush's games officially begin again. Xavier needs a wrap-up episode, of course, but Rylis/Kyle/Eerin are almost done. Commissar Esgabath is moving into the second third of his. Roan Trilanger and Tanic Starguard have only scratched the surface.

What I actually admired the most was the thought that went into analysis of the movies, lots of stuff I didn't realize or saw that way at all.
We hate to blow our own trumpets (and I am greateful for the compliments) but we do like to think this is our 'schtick', yes.
As for my brother- oh yes indeed, and in fact the Ghost Citadel plotline, generally considered by the Darkies to be their favourite game, was in fact never played offline and was specially written by my brother for the crowd here.

I actually heard from him today. He is busy securing a PhD in international politics, with which I wish him the best of luck, and does not come on KMC often. I told him that the games were beginning, though, and he said he would talk to Ush if he felt he had the time for it.
Oh, I didn't know that. We didn't talk in quite some time.

If they are played offline, how does that work out with Dark Siders and Light Siders? Do you have two groups? Or two games at the same time?

Depends who turns up! But in recent times (not that we have played for more than two years) it's been really just the Light Side.
Ironically when play resumes that might be close to being inversed; we have very few Light Siders left.
Haha, Crewlifornia... myself, Bespin Bart, and HereticalDruid are brothers. General Zink went to high school with me. Brit and Vera21 are friends of Chris (BB), and Alkaselzer is a friend of mine. Quite often it happens that one of us will use another's computer and forget the logout... but we all use the Star Wars Black theme for the boards, so we cannot tell when we're not using our own account until we post and go 'Oh, hey, what the hell.'
We try to avoid it, though.
Stefan could be considered part of Crewlifornia for living in California here.
