But yea, it is kinda insane to think about this, and especially how that this format is the only one that would be conducive to this type of game and community. You wouldn't be able to start this game up today because forums as a whole are not the way people interact on the internet anymore.

That's really true. I've tried to start games like this with my friends, but most of them don't really see the point or understand the format. Why use a message board when we can text it or... etc. etc.

And I was 13 for most of 2003. I'm basically really cool.

I wish I received more notifications for this place. I joined in 2007-ish so I was a late comer to the party, but as the sections I tended to frequent died off, my time spent on the forum went from daily to now just barely once every few weeks.

I wish I visited more often but project work has now totally moved off of the forum, and social media is far more accessible and easier than this. Wow! I sound like a douche.

I think you can set something like that up but I don't know that it emails you. But yeah, it's somewhat outdated.

It's been a month and besides the summary we don't seem to have moved much, in some way it's the stop-start progress of the games that stops me from regular checking as I get fairly busy.

These forums definitely need a massive overhaul.

Always a good time reading old adventures on here and seeing how bad we've messed up.

I had lots of fun reading the Galaxy At War and seeing the battle between players of different vision.

Which one was Galaxy At War? Was that the OT game?
