Sense is indeed an important discipline to remember. Consider this alternaitve version of one of the early secnes in Attack of the Clones:
-
ANAKIN: Chancellor Palpatine seems to be a good man
OBI-WAN: I have observed that Palpatine is adept at...
(waffles on about politics for five minutes)
ENT: Captain Typho
TYPHO: Hey! The Queen's dead! You let these slug things kill her whilst you were out here babbling!
ANAKIN: Hey, Master! I thought you were keeping track of what was going on in that room!
OBI-WAN: No, I thought you were keeping track of what was going on in that room, my young padawan apprentice learner! You're the one who fancies her!
ANAKIN: Doh!
(music plays: Wah-wah-wah-wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...)
ENT: Jar-Jar Binks, who performs comedy pratfall.
SWITCH TO: Dooku observing things on monitor
DOOKU: Well, that's buggered my plan, hasn't it? How are they going to track the link to Kamino if the Queen is dead already? Stupid damn Jedi not using Sense, this is exactly why I left...
(opens comm channel)
DOOKU: Jango, this is Tyrannus. You are going to have to put up a big sign or something, marked 'this way to the secret Clone Army'.
JANGO: Yes, Master Saruman!
(Pause)
DOOKU: Jango, just because you are form New Zealand, that doesn't make you an Orc. And clean that White Hand off your helmet!
(film ends)

No! Instead, Anakin specifies to camera that he knows what is going on in that room, as is "I feel it also" Kenobi (as ever, making sure Anakin knows that HE had thought of it as well, so don't be getting any ideas about being better than me, m'laddo), and they run in there and save the day. This was the film equivalent of the players saying every two minutes "I'm sensing that room, Ush. Did you remember I am sensing that room, ush? 'cos if anything is going on in there, I'd be sensing it, right?"
Which is where Inner Calm/Iron Will becomes important when you are up against other Force Users; it's the Living Force counter. I am afraid only Dark Siders get the Cosmic Force counter, which is Obfuscate.
And hey, Galder! Galaxy might have big plans for you, y'know.
