A supernova going off in front of superman would only increase his powers, did u forget that he's powered by the sun, superman has survived and explosion of the sun -eater when he took him out he exploded with energies from thousands of suns he had consumed in his history, still superman wasn hurt

he can survive any environment, has no internal organs, as fast as superman, stronger than superman, almost killed Darkside had superman not intervened, during a fight with the green lantern corps killed hundreds of them and injured thousands, all the guardians of the galaxy together ended up only stalemating him. one of the guardians died setting the oan battery off, that tremendous explosion only threw Doomsday away from OA, but did not injure him.
Do u know how powerful one Guardian of the Galaxy is? One Guardian is more powerful than Parallax.
the X-men would not have a chance of taking out doomsday, the avengers would not have a chance taking out doomsday, the defenders would not have a chance of taking out doomsday.
the only chance they have is transporting him as far as way from them as possible, just like the JLA did in doomsday wars, were he took the whole JLA out by himself, he knocked out orion, manhunter, wonderwoman, flash, GL, Plastic man, etc (Orion is the equal in strength as thor)

I respect no hero who has writers to stoop to levels of duping there audience. No sir than u must respect allot of characters in marvel, there's a huge list of characters that have died and come back.
