Superman would easily win. Nobody is disputing that. However, adamantium is stilll more resistant to damage than superman is. Also, I'm not sure whether or not adamantium could cut superman. If it is very sharp adamantium then it may just stand a good chance, but superman is too fast for that anyway.
So you people are saying that Adamantium is more durable than Superman? I don't agree with that for one minute. If the Incredible Hulk can bend Adamantium then, Superman can just as easily bend or break it. Adamantium is not completly indestructable. Maybe on Earth it's virtually indestructable if humans try and destroy it. But we are talking about Sueprman, I think that Superman could find a way to destroy Adamantium, why because he's Superman.

His healing is as fast as anyone's when his solar reserves are high. for example, in superman/batman he is shot with a krptonite bullet and bats is trying to get the bullet out of him. He says,'even with a kryptonite bullet in you, your cellular regeneration is too fast, the wound may close before I get the bullet out'. And that's with a kryptonite bullet in him folks. Superman's healing:never before mentioned and never much needed.
I was arguing with some idiot, I think it was Wolverine888, that what would happen if Superman flew from the moon to planet earth at like mach 20 and plowed into wolverines chest. And he was saying that Wolverine would be okay, and just brush the dirt off his shoulders. Wolverines shit would be totally caved in beyond repair. That would be the death of Logan after over 100 years of fighting...

Freddy would not be able to do anything to Wolverine, even in dreams, his powers are based around fear, and can you really see wolverine being scared of that?
As for the guy who said that Wolvie wouldn't kill Supes, I think you are wrong. He nearly killed Spiderman in one comic, knowing full well he was just a kid, Spidey backed down and the fight ended.
I would just like to say however that Wolvie would kick Supermans ass. Superman may have super strength and heat vision and the ability to fly, but he is not invulnerable. Doomsday did huge amounts of physical damage as have plenty of other characters, Wolvie claws would cut through him like a hot knife through butter. Superman wouldn't be able to give him the old lobotoy treatment as the admantium lining to his skull would reflect the attack right back at him.
All wolvie would have to do is get a few deep gashes into him and Supes would be screwed! Wolvie to win after a tough fight.
