I would just like to say however that Wolvie would kick Supermans ass. Superman may have super strength and heat vision and the ability to fly, but he is not invulnerable. Doomsday did huge amounts of physical damage as have plenty of other characters, Wolvie claws would cut through him like a hot knife through butter. Superman wouldn't be able to give him the old lobotoy treatment as the admantium lining to his skull would reflect the attack right back at him.

All wolvie would have to do is get a few deep gashes into him and Supes would be screwed! Wolvie to win after a tough fight.

man, i thought this thread was dead ages ago. anyway, there are dozens of posts in this thread why it states that wolvi can't beat supes. wolverine won't even be able to hit supes. im too tired of this thread to list all the other reasons why wolvi gets beaten in 10 secs.

Aight as far as comics go, Wolverine and Spiderman are my favs, but lets be serious, cut the bull, ima state fact cuz I know the powers of both parties. 1st off Superman cannot "snap"Wolverines neck, its impossible, dont care how strong u are. To ellaborate, it doesn't matter how strong and durable adimantium is, because Wolverine will still need to be insanely powerful to drive the claws through Superman. Steel is stronger and more durable than wood but that doesn't mean you'd be able to drive a steak knife through a tree with your bare hands. Wolverine attacking Superman would have similiar results to you attacking a tree with a knife; either the blades would stop dead in its tracks apon contact, or if more force was applied they would push out the back of Wolvies hand.

I have been wondering who the strongest superhero was in Marvel. Obviously in DC comics we know it's Supes but who is the strongest in Marvel? Plus if wolverine is so bad............ he has indestructable skelenton and all and in the latest X-men mags, he has his leg burnt off by one of the centrons who decides to attack the President and just about anybody else.................and all wolvie says is, it'll heal.

I know for a fact invincible girl from the Fantastic Four would whoop him (Reeds girlfriend with the force field) as she can place an invincible force field around his neck like she did the Hulk during a battle with the FF.

Wolvie would runout of oxygen, wouldn't he? I think marvel should have an epic to decide this issue once a year like WWF used to do in RUMBLEMANIA!

A Superman (post-crisis) vs. Wolverine battle already exist. He would surely not be able to hurt the pre-crisis version, as I think it was illustrated that even a single hair could carry at least 2 tons. Just because Wolverine has an adamantium skeleton, it doesn't necessarily mean he's impervious to harm.
