the white peeps raping the culture and so on.

''White peeps'' as in the tons of (quite often) white only crowds you see out at shows supporting independent artists? ''White peeps'' as in Aesop Rock, Edan, Cage, RA The Rugged Man, Eyedea, El-P and Demigodz? Yes, how dare those filthy crackers rape the culture with their knowledge and passion.

reasonable doubt was a good album. i only liked a song or two off his last one tho, he sort of sold out, which sucks. theres way better emcees out there to worry about than somebody who resorts to publicity stunts, whatever happened to staying retired.

He's had some good songs here and there, but I just don't believe he is deserving of titles such as "one of the greatest rappers of all-time" like a portion of people usually give him.

😆 I wasnt sure if his comment had some hidden meaning that i didnt get. If thats how it was meant then it really is a gem. Do people really think the only white emcees in existence are Eminem and Vanilla Ice?

no definitely not. the people that think that are the mtv 50 cent mainstream crowd that dont bother to look for the real hip hop.

I couldn't agree more Phat J...

On a totally unrelated matter, i caught my 7yr old son walking around the house singing 4000 miles by Blackalicious the other day. I guess playing quality hip hop in the car all the time has filtered through to him, a proud day for me.

😂 Awesome. I wonder if later in life there's going to be music that'l make the artits we listen to now sound like simple oldies tunes. I wonder... Seems impossible to me but you never know....

True, true.

sometimes i wonder if i'll ever listen to hip hop after like 30+ years old

Don't know, but I've been listening to it since I was a small child so I think I'll be hearing rap for the rest of my life, regardless.

Dont be ridiculous man, good hip hop can be appreciated no matter what age you are.
Are you saying that 30+ is old? wheelchair

That's my wigga talking...White Power!

...well it sounds good when black people say it.

All jokes aside, I found it somewhat amazing on the Violent By Design DVD how many JMT shows would be pretty much all white people.
