icon the mic king- probably my favourite style ive ever heard, his delivery is so perfect. he has such a huge vocabulary, every line he spits is great. i can listen to songs that ive heard a hundred times and he still blows me away. i do not know he gets all those words out, im gonna listen to god amongst men right now.
2.
vakill- i cant get enough of vakill, hes just so dope. everything he puts out is good if not great, some of the best metaphors and lines that ive ever heard and could never even began to think up have been dropped by him.
3.
eyedea- one of the first emcees i got really big in to, he just goes off on some songs and i have to rewind it like 10 times so i can memorize it cuz its so crazy. he can tell a great story too, if you've ever heard murder of memories you know what i mean.
4.
aesop rock- labor days is one of my favourite albums of all time, he can tell a great story. he just drops his verse and leaves you thinking about it, and then when you finally understand the entire thing, its that much better. he can dumb it down and still blow you away, now tahts skill.
5.
masta ace- so glad i found this guy, any emcee that can put together a great concept album is worth being on my list, especially one with rhymes as awesome as this guys.
6.
lif- one of the first emcees i got into, i just like his attitude and style. return of the b-boy blew me away when i heard it, i dont know which i like more, the sped up battle style or the slow chill style, he has some crazy imagery in that song.
7.
chino xl- best punchlines in hip hop imo, the very first emcee i got into, and i still throw in his albums in from time to time. he just reminds me of the first time i really got into hip hop, listening to ghetto vampire over and over again until i got sick of it. i cannot wait for his next album to drop, its gonna be awesome.
8.
apathy- my favourite flow in hip hop, tons of my favourite rhymes have been dropped by him. i know like half of his songs off by heart. ive said the lesson freestyle so many times, its retarded that it hasnt gotten old for me.
9.
qwel- contantly evolving and changing his style, if you listen to his old stuff then something like broken wing, the difference is crazy.
10.
del the funky homosapien- the song del's nightmare showed me how great a hip hop song could be, it htis you on so many levels, the first time i heard it me and my friend listened to it for an hour, that and love is worth, cuz it described some shit that was happening in our lives to the word.

juice- its debatable, but IMO hes the best freestyler in hip hop. tip of the iceberg has some great rhymes on it, some of my favourites for sure. i just dont see him evolving out of the battle rap, which is too bad, but hey, what can ya do, it just wouldnt be the same any other way.

gruf- love this guys style, havent found a song by him that i dont like. plus hes canadian, cant beat that. 😛

pip skid- fermented reptile's album was great, probably my favourite p & c album, i listened to taht album way too much. i havent really related to that many emcees, but i did with pippy.
14.
nas- he has a style and delivery like no other, one of my favourite emcees without a question.
15.
louis logic- deathblow said it best, the drunken master of hip hop. hes just so funny, while maintaining that sick rhyme style he can definitely call his own.
16.
alaska- my favourite guy from atoms fam, he outshines windbreeze on every single hangar 18 song ive ever heard, he just has this flow that makes you wanna rap and put together some crazy intricate sentences
17.
breez evahflowin- this guy steals the song in every single posse cut ive ever heard him on, he just kills it. the only album i could ever found by him was fly and it was ok. i can think of so many verses hes had on other peoples songs that are great, always comin with great rhymes and ideas.
18.
prime- been tryin to find everything i can by this guy, and so far its all great, second favourite emcee from molemen. i havent found enough stuff by him to put him any higher on the list(if anyones got anything, it'd be awesome if you could up it).
19.
diabolic- hes one of those emcees that says everything you want him to say when you want him to say it, and sounds awesome doin it.
20.
killah priest- the sheer range of this emcees songs, going from battle raps to songs about the history of black people to sogns about the universe, all the while spitting some of my favourite rhymes ive heard so far.[PHP][B]
