😠
Is Prince Po the other half of Oganized Confuzion? Those dudes were dope. That "Crush, kill, destroy, stress" is a classic. They got me really love'n hip-hop again, after the "radio-ready" lull in the 90's.
Ok, so I just heard the new Eminem single. I don't like it. I was really looking forward to it cuz I thought it would be some innovative stuff. Or at least something to push hip-hop along. The beat is real similar to "My band" which works for "My band" because they're making fun of that genre. But for Em's newest solo joint it sounds real stale. His lyrics seem to have dropped a level too. I mean, he never really said anything before but he was still one of the best at putting words together. Maybe this is just his big "pop" single and the rest of his album is tight. I sure as hell hope so.
😑
What do ya'll think of "Go crazy"?
Oh yeah. He's even got the kids from the Missy Elliot videos dancing in his sh*t. Wow. WTF?

Couldnt agree more, i think any credibility he had has gone down the toilet with that effort. Some of the lyrics border on 50 cent territory and we all know how bad that is.

Disposable Arts vs A Long Hot Summer
i wouldn't be able to pick one. both are great.
Yup. Both were real good, but I'd have to go with Disposable Arts. Block Episode always cheers me up after a hard day.
Which is kinda odd really seeing as it's about brutal street shootings 😕
As for Eminem, he can flow, he can write decent rhymes most of the time, but his subject matter is very uninteresting, and his beats have sounded more and more like Saturday morning kid's cartoon show theme tunes as time has gone on. The best thing he ever did was Stan, which dealt with interesting stuff (e.g. psychology and obsession). That was pure genius, one of the darkest hip-hop tracks i've heard. He'll never write anything better than that, I guarentee it.
