Big Daddy Kane was one of the people who laid the groundwork to say "You can be rich and successful without being shit and selling yourself out."

Maybe more people would have followed it if he did also, but we all know what Kane did once his sales dropped.

He didn't "Say" it, but he showed it didn't he? Of course, until he stopped becoming relevant and rather than continuing to make music he loved, regardless of being popular or not, he decided to sell out in the worst way.

to be honest i dont think im thinking of the same way he sold out...Album wise i know he really flopped. that Veternz Day wasn't what i expected and Prince of Darkness in my opinion wasn't that impressive. When you said he sold out, i quickly thought of
