I know I'm a little s-l-o-w with this observation, but I've recently developed the opinion that Supreme People by Blackalicious is one of the dopidiest hip-hop troo-acks I've heard in a long while. The flow is smooth and the lyrics are right on da sticky honey money. Peace out, werd.

that gnarls barkley album looks pretty good, i saw the video for their single on tv the other day and it was good. i havent heard anything by cee lo before, does he rap or is he more of a singer?

i always thought he just did choruses and produced tracks.

the track i heard was more of a mix of r & b and hip hop than just straight singing or rapping.

what do you guys feel like is the biggest indie/undeground hip-hop label? i feel like it's Def Jux or Rhymesayers but maybe its cuz i hear about them the most. what do you guys think?

ive never really thought about it, i know my favourite labels defjux because i like all their artists and it has most of my favourites. i think its either rhymesayers or defjux too, just weigh their artists against eachother.

Oh, Im not into hip-hop...yet.

koolrunningz, -hh- and phat J are recommending/uploading/sending the artists I they like and think I would like also.

Currently, as you may conclude from my previous post, I am listening to Illogic a lot. I just got his album today (off amazon) and Im in the porcess of getting Unforseen Shadows.

koolrunningz has got me some Cyne (which im really looking forward to, since koolrunningz has an awesome taste in music), and I very much enjoy Cunninlyngusts 👆

So far artists which I have heard and really really like are Illogic, Cunninglynguists, Aesop Rock, One Be Lo, a girlfriend of mine just got me some stuff from Blueprint which im still in process of listening to, Apathy, and im a huge fan of Handsome Boy Modeling School.

There are few more here and there which I pick up form the boys in this thread and check out - but im a new commer to hip-hop...very new comer, and I don't have ''fave ever'' MC, since I don't have sufficient knowledge of all great MCs.

Oh and Inspectah Deck is my ''random songs'' provider. He gives me random songs from radom artists, from Cassidy and Jay-Z to Wu Tang....which hes still in the process of sending. Its cool 👆
