Ok, Ive read the interview were JK says Snape is not a vampire but she doesn't give a direct no. I still think it as at least possible of him being half vampire.

People have been saying he's a vampire forever, and guess what.I almost guarantee Snape is not a vampire.

i think its alil far in the collection to decide now that hes going to b a vampyr ... cuz 5 yrs into hogwarts and nobody has died of so called 'vampyr' bytes ??? surely to god there would be some if he was

don't forget snape was exactly popular when he could of turned evil to get revenge then found a heart when he heard that lily had been killed...

unless hes eating the blood of animals and stuff like that

i think, if he is a half vampire, he drinks animal blood, or maybe he can also eat normal food then! but i don't think dumbledore would hire snape when he would bite humans!!

Im pretty sure its his father, during the oclumency lesson in book 5 have got a glimpse of a hook nosed man and a young snape cowering in the corner. Perhaps Snapes father was an important death eater which is why Snape too became one.

I think its his father, maybe this is linked to the reason that Dumbledore trusts him. Perhaps he defied his deatheater father which proved to Dumbledore that Snape is trustworth because of this sacrafice.
