Arwen looked to the people looking them over not understanding it all.

Finally, no more stood. A few remained sitting, who were perhaps the most sensible of the group.

Among those that had pledged their allegience were the Gondorians, Rohan, several dwarves from some mountain stronghold, and, oddly, two hobbits--the latter saying that though the Shire had no troops to give, they would fight to protect Rivendell.

(I'm less sensible)

(we all are Tela, we all are 😎 )

Tela felt a wave of nausia taking over. She hated crowds and always felt she had to prove herself.

Dagaron nodded, approvingly at the group that was formed. It would be strong. But it all would matter on who was the leader, and that was still yet to be reveled who it would be.

Tela had the same thoughts. Who would e able to lead them and still keep peace between them? It would definately be a challenge. She thought maybe Theomer. He seemed the best to fit the position.

((my understanding of Jay's plan is that us and maybe a few others have been selected to form and lead an army... The rest have been sent by various cities/kings and actually have troops... Correct?))

"It is necessary that you now elect a leader for your group...", Elrond announces.

Tela bites her lip. "What about Theomer?" she asks.

"That will be up for the rest of you to decide," Elrond answers. "If he is willing, and the others in the group wish it, then by all means."

Tela waited for everyone else to say something. She wondered if Theomer would take it.

"If it is what everyone wants... Then I will do it," Theomer says.

Tela smiles. He was the only one beside Daragon she trusted but he seemed more impartial and wise.

Arwen said, "I second that!"

Dagaron nodded. "I agree as well." He narrowed his eyes at the men. "He would keep his patience far better then I with some of this group."

Tela laughs. "This is true." she said.

The others in the group seem rather unopinionated. "If there are no more opinions on the matter," Lord Elrond started, "then I should imagine that you have selected a leader."

Dagaron nodded to Theomer. "You have my sword."

"My elven swordsmanship," said Arwen. Gwen nodded too.
