Tela smiled. "Relax, Lord Elrond, I promise, not on this ground if need be."

Dagaron sat in a chair, quietly watching the mens eyes shift from him to Tela, and back to him. He kept each of their gazes, showing he wasn't scared. They obviously didn't know of Tela's background, nor his own. They realized Elrond was not pleased though, and resulted to either watching him, or stareing at the ground.

Tela smirked. Inwardly she was laughing. She knew Elrond would probably talk to her and Daragon later, but it didn't matter. She was having too much fun watching these men squirm.

Saw Tela's face and realized she was having just as much fun. These men were to prideful for their own good, and eventually it would get them into some serious trouble.

Tela secretly began tng as big as this her true insecure self was starting to show. She bit her bottom lip lightly as her eyes wondered to the path.

Elrond looked around the circle, looking at each member of the assembled council in turn. When order was somewhat restored, he continued.

"As I was saying, the time of the elves has come, and gone. (picture the music from the beginning of FOTR playing here 😉 ) We have no longer the resources to protect our own land. With this new threat comes a call to duty for all Middle-Earth. One that few will have the cares, or indeed the means, to answer. Gathered here is at least one representative from every kingdom in Middle-Earth. Who will fight to save the elf-havens? Who will honor the long-past allegiance between men and elves?"

((I got an idea... Y'all (except Tela, obviously) c'd've come with another person from y'alls homelands... That was the way it was in FOTR...))

((then i am like Aragorn was, b/c i'm a ranger, i'm just there))

((but Aragorn was there cos he was taking the hobbits...))

((so, who am i here with?? I'm not apart of a certain city, and I'm not accompanying anyone))

((good point... hmm... Well I'm from Rohan but I haven't spent much of my life there... This is somewhat of a paradox, these antisocial characters, aren't they?))

((lol....hmm.... Well, seeing as I am a Dunadain, and seen alot of battle, Elrond could want me for a commander. Same for u and Tela. Elrond knows where everyone is, so he could have just sent for us so us three could end up as the three leaders in one place. And he tells us that seperatly, b.c he doesn't want to cause controversy. That could be what he told Tela back on the path. Just an idea))

(((A very good idea!)))

((Good thinkin Jay 👆 ))

There is a long pause. "Anyone?"

Dagaron stood and bowed. "You have my oath of alligance Lord Elrond." He then sat back down.

Tela stood. "Lord Elrond, I owe you my life; you have my sword as you have my allegiance." she said bowing then sitting down.

Elrond watched as a few more came forward. Theomer stood up. "Till death take me, Lord Elrond, I will fight for your cause." Another Rohanian man, apparently a representative from the king, stood.

"Rohan stands by your side, my lord," he said.

Tela watched making a mental list of those who had came forth. Her eyes searched for the others that should have stood. They all shood have, but why didn't they?

Another man, a Gondorian, stood and pledged his allegience. Farathor, the young Gondorian commander, looked at him disapprovingly. He was, however, powerless, the other being the Steward's ambassador.

"Of course I pledge to my father," said Arwen with a light dancing in her eyes.

With each man that stood, a new doubt slowly formed in Dagarons mind. These men were prideful. He only hoped they could fight as well as they bragged. Many of them had traded war stories before the meeting, quoting the number of kills they had in each battle. Dagaron could see a few here that looked like men who could fight, and do it well, but there were some he wondered about. He looked to see that Tela appeared to be sizing them up as well. He wished he could see what she thought. She was the most experianced one here. If he wanted anyone on his side, it was her.
