~OK here's the situation, 3 wagons, the money train, were stolen earlier than planned, and are thundering away from New Hope. Black Bart and a few bandits are in the FIRST wagon... Catori and the Sergeant Scorpion anda few bandits are in the SECOND wagon... The third wagon is just bandits as far as anyone knows, nobody saw Wolf Raines (nobody really knows him but Leo...)
oh and Buddy, Jericho and the REAL Army are coming up fast behind in the FOURTH WAGON, with Benny and Lilly trailing, with some important information... where are Greg and Matt and Luis and Nat?? nobody knows...
there's still time to post some heroics before the bandits are all killed back in town, but Leo was first out of the gates to follow the wagons' with his trusty shotgun... and I did set up and speed up this little train caper so Leo could do his train-jumping heroic things, so,
WAITING ON YOU, LEO!!! 😄
(PS: There will be more twists to this whole thing, if my plans go on, or you can just post some super heroics and save the day right now... first things first, getting past the THIRD mystery wagon full of bandits to save Catori, or whatever... ~
~Still not a real train 🙁~
Leo rode on towards the wagons, he shot at a couple of bandits that were aiming at him from the third wagon, their bodies fell out and were trampled on by Leo's horse. Over to Leo's left he saw someone on a horse...Wolfe. He looked back and forth between the two, trying to decide which was more important. His job or his revenge.
"Shit!" Leo grabbed his deputy badge and threw it onto the floor, riding off towards Wolfe and replacing his shotgun. He grabbed the rifle instead.
Two things happened then, as Leo made his choice to follow his black heart's vengeance, rather than his gut instinct to stick to 'duty' and 'justice':
First, his shooting of the few bandits in the last wagon inspired the last 3 bandits in the wagon to step to the rear gate, and expose their.... (no, not their asses!!) 😄 ) hostages!! Miss Sisco, the Widow Smith, and Gavin, the caretaker from the WR Ranch and estate, and a few other important folk from town all bound and held in the back of the wagon, for some insidious purpose... one bandit snarled at Leo as he took aim on the wagon again; the bandit shoved Gavin to the gate and glared at Leo, firing his pistol into Gavin's back and shoving the man from the moving wagon!!
To further stir the plot (and inspire those heroics??) when Wolf saw his nemesis draw pause from his pursuit of the wagon train, Wolf Raines also snarled, drawing aim on the wagon himself, and shooting the driver of the third wagon in the back of the head before spurring his horse off and down the trail to the left...
the third wagon, full of hostages and a few bandits, now thundered down the road unmanned and out of control!!!
OH NO!!!!
And, just when you thought it couldn't get worse, Sergeant Scorpion lost his grip on the second wagon up ahead, and tumbled and rolled down the dusty road...
...when the unmanned horses gallop over the obstructing soldier, who knows what Hell will be unleashed upon the unsuspecting innocent captives?!?!
OH MERCY ME!!! Whoever can save the hostages now?!!?
Benny had slowed and stopped just then, to examine the newest dead bodies of the bandits, trampled by Leo. He recovered the tin star from the dirt, and dusted it off when the gun shot rang out, killing the third wagon driver... then he looked up and saw the hostages in the back of the wagon...
With the only hero left in the world, Buddy Reno stuck on a wagon full of Army soldiers a few miles back, there was no way he could save or even see the tragedy as it was about to unfold for Miss Sisco, widow Smith and the others in the last wagon of the money train.
When old heroes die or follow their black hearts vengeance, there's only one other choice; new heroes must be born, forged in the heat of battle and conflict, to step up and fill the massive void left in this spontaneously-but-specifically designed personally-tailored, train-jumping, life-saving, hero-making mission...
With the heartiest of battle cries, the new age of heroic cowboy legend was hatched.
"MMMMMMMMMOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAA!!"
Benny Sisco shouted, kicking his horse in the haunches as hard as he could, galloping up along side the way-laid wagon, casting a hateful heartbroken glare at the 'Black Angel of Death' Leo Raines. Benny spit, and he calculated wind-speed and vectors and all the angles, so his spit shot up and over and spalatted on Leo's cheek, flushed with vengeance, then Li'l Deputy Benny Sisco charged further up along side the wagon, standing on the saddle, passing the reins to Lilly before leaping to the wagon!!!!
Unfortunately, he was not quick enough, not strong enough to reign in the thundering horses before they crossed-paths with the fallen Sergeant Scorpion soldier. The horses galloped on, the wagon bounced and bucked, landing with a clatter and a crash, which pulled the horses in an awkward direction, further unsettling the wagon, which teetered on one-wheel and finally toppled from the roadway, tumbling down the steep rocky slope into the ravine.
From the road, Lily was close enough to hear the startled shrieks and screams of utter terror as chaos was unleashed for the passengers of the wagon. The horses were upended too, being impaled upon the rigging such from the wagon, which also meant that Little Benny Sisco was sent reeling too...
...perhaps it would bring the black-hearted hero, Leo the Lion Raines small comfort to know that the boy, Benny Sisco, was not kept from his dearly departed mother for long...
"Momma..." Benny gasped from his place at the bottom of the ravine, the weight of the wagon rigging, another dead horse, and the weight of his whole little world crashing down upon him just then. "I tried momma... Papa woulda been so proud, wouldn't he momma? I was the hero, momma... almosssssssssssssssssss t-"
It was truly a bad day to be a good guy in New Hope Texas....
Catori watched in complete horrorr as the other wagon rolled down the trench. "NOoooo!!!!" she screamed. "No, it can't be." she said sobbing. She had seen Gavin gone down. She had seen enny try to rescue his mom. "You heartless bastards." she said kicking one bandit in the crouch making him fall to the ground.

"Ben!" cried Lily. She galloped closer to him and never stopped. "Hold on!" She looked around and before she knew what she was doing she did it anyway. She grabbed his hands and pulled him up.
"Mama..." Benny gasped quietly, blinking away the tears in his eyes and gazing up at Lily. "An angel!!" he smiled, as Lily pulled at his arms.
Amazingly, the wood and steel wagon rigging actually helped keep the dead weight of the horse from crushing the boy, propping the carcass up, sparing the boy much more damage than cuts, bruises and nasty scrapes over much of his body from the tumbling fall!!
"Am I dead? Like the banditos?" Benny cried softly.
"No, silly..." Lily explained, "It's just me, and I'm not angel!"
"No... not you..." Benny countered, looking past Lily, over her shoulder, into the slowly-brightening dawn sky. "Momma... Momma's with the angels now..."
Little Benny Sisco then passed out cold from shock and pain, clutching the tin star badge on his chest.
