John Byrne didn't create the Silver Surfer. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby did. Galactus as well. Neither of them assisted in writing the crossover.

He also wanted Darksied to never loose to Superman

Crossovers are not in continuity.

And by the way SS never took GL's energy. Quite the opposite, Parallax took his energy. Kyle gave it back to SS later willingly. Surfer had to ask for it...and even after that, he had no control of the GL energy.

This scan of Hulk still proves nothing of him sucking Supes energy.

Galactus ignores the likes of Quasar, Thor, and Gladiator even when hungry.

I admitted that I don't have the crossover. In Unholy alliance, the book we were discussing, Darkseid didn't blast Surfer.

Bottom line, Superman loses.

Not fast enough.

Not durable enough.
