I found this song very interesting. I like the way Gryffindor used a dark character (N) and I feel he really helped create the atmosphere a lot. I really felt it was the actions and chants that brought this whole song to life.

I really like the way that Ravenclaw has made this song to the tune of “Into the West”. I like this song a lot and feel it works really well with the tune. The chorus is, in my opinion, especially interesting and I like it a lot.

I think this song is pretty good for something at the last minute. I like the idea of the song being a letter to the writer’s parents about their settling into their new school. I also like the way the song tells a story which includes each of the houses.

lol kool i wouldve cooked up a song but it would be so horrible it would get like -45/45 lol but i have final exams! EEK! i realllllly gotta study cuse my gov. teacher doesnt teach anything and thats like the test i gotta take first and i didnt have anytime to come on KMC but i promise ill come more often :-D ok? alrighty then oh yea wats the new challenge and deadline.....i hope they remeber we have exams and wont b able to finish things if the deadline is so close like saturday or sumthing
well, I proposed the Song challenge but it seems everybody had a hard time (or is it lack of time?) to do it-- that includes me of course *lol*
but if its ok, I've got some other ideas to propose which you can consider, whichever you think will be easiest for everyone--

3) Create-A-Spell (that's "make up your own spell"😉 Challenge
There were some ideas in Gryffindor as well, all creative fiction based:
1)fan fic about the characters
2)The very end of the story - how will it end?
3)Story about your particular House Founder
4)If Sirius was to re-appear - how would he come back?
(I think that's right, someone correct me if I'm wrong and the last one I just came up with now 😉 )
Also it doesn't have to be very long as long as it keeps you involved as a reader and entertained but is also consise then it's ok. I think they could be changed into theory ideas though if stories are too long in terms of speech and background descriptions etc.
More details of no:3 (as provided by Celestial Moon):
my idea is about writing a story about your founder's history. it could be sad or funny but it needs 2 explain y they acted like they did when they created hogwarts(ex: y is rowena smart; y does salazar believe only purebloods should go at hogwarts, etc.)
Yeah, the Gryffindor's had an idea about doing a story about all of us. For example, if I wanted to write a story about Hogwarts and have a group of Slytherin's walk through the hallways. I might write:
Rogue and tassie went patrolling the hallways to catch any students cutting class. It was no surprise when they saw a group of Slytherin's huddled in a corner.
"Break it up!" Rogue screeched.
"Yeah. You're supposed to be in class," Tassie added. "Unless you want some points taken away."
All of the Slytherin's turned their heads and snarled. "I'm a Prefect too," A.D snarled. "I can take points from your house too!"
"Obviously he's there ring leader," Rogue whispered to tassie, who nodded her head.
"Look, we'll give you 3 seconds to clear the hallways," tassie began. "Or else -"
"Or else what?n You're gonna run and tell the Headmaster," myredmirage snickered and all the Slytherin's laughed.
Rogue stepped forward. "Look, if you guys don't go to class, we're going to-
"Do nothing," A.D. laughed, pushing Rogue back. "Why, you ask?? Becuz you can't."
And he lead the Slytherin's down the hall, leaving Rogue and Tassie to look after them.
"They think that they can do whatever the want," tassie said. We haveto get them."
"Oh, we will will," Rogue said, thinking of Uni, Georgina_A and all the other people who had a run-in with the Slytherin's. "You can count on it.
Perhaps we could use ourselves for the stories we come up with. What do you think?? This is just a suggestion to the Ravenclaws.
I think a story about the founder of the house would be a great idea... though that I think would be easier for the Gryffindors and Slytherin because their founders give loads of possibilities while for Helga and Rowena we would have to invent absolutely and totally new ideas (which is more fun, but also more difficult)
