hey why don't we give a deadline for the revenclaws to come up with a challenge if they don't come up with one we will let griffindor decide since thy are in the second place.
That is what will come into action in the future. This time we all didn't expect the Ravenclaw's to take so long and they're going through the whole prefect choosing thing. Also I think they have already chosen they're just finalising it.
Ok there has been no reply in Ravenclaw for twelve hours so I think I'll just post what we have so far - maybe you all could help us to finalise it?

From what I've gathered the general consensus is for the founders story including details such as the foundation of Hogwarts and what implications that had e.g. the problems with Slytherin's ideas plus whether entries should describe their founder's nature. Why not make those the pre-reqs? As for the rest well thats where people can get creative and think about what it is about their founder they find interesting enough to write about. In terms of length howabout an average of 4 paragraphs and a max of 6 or something like that.
@Georgina basically, yes

yeah, give us the details, Exa 🙂
That's why I suggested discussing the details here.
As uni already said, it doesn't have to be a re-telling of the few facts rowling gives, it should be a new, creative story that if possible also shows the relationship between the founders of hogwarts and their different opinions.
This story is the only thing we kinda agreed on, though it's a very vague thing and new ideas would be appreciated 🙁
Well ok, we've got the basic facts -
1) It's a creative fiction about our own House founders
2) It has to include how they felt/thought about the process of founding Hogwarts
3) It should also include what type of person they were
4) 4-6 paragraphs long
Those are all the pre'requisites^ and everything else is creative like events, which style you write it in e.g. first person or biographical etc
Now we just need a deadline and scoring system right?
I answer the challenge, sirs and ladies! 😉
From the pen of Helga Hufflepuff
I am at my wits end! Salazar refuses to allow entrance to Muggle-borns, Rowena wishes to enlist only the smartest of students, and Godric only the bravest. Can they not see that this will be the end of us? I hate to quote a cliché, but it is true that ‘Together we stand, divided we fall’, is it not?
They will not listen to my counsel, so I must simply do my best to mend this madness. I cannot prevent this dissention, but at least I can remedy it. Any that my fellow Founders deem unworthy for their own House I shall take them to mine, teach them all the same, treat them all the same, tend them all the same. They will flower and prosper.
My only concern is that no-one shall acclaim them. These, my hard workers, those who suffer the hardest treatment, the most indifference, and no complaint shall pass their lips. My poor, diligent children, forever over-looked by and for their louder, prouder brothers and sisters.
How can our wizarding community prosper if we do not help each other? Helping only ourselves leads to chaos, confusion, collapse. I pity my descendants, that they may live to know the reap of our failures.
We have failed them.
The others may not see it, but I do. We have betrayed our duty to our children. We should think only of them, not of ourselves. How can good come of this?
I must do what I can. I must repair the rifts our quarrels have caused.
I must not fail them.
Not again.
