Think is was star trek that had the borg and i think star trek like the terminator has the greatest attruibutes that are based on fact not on fiction. star wars is too far sci fi these are more like sci-fact. Iam i the only one who listens to the t1 and t2 soundtracks when logged on to this forum? I felt the same way about the semi truck.. it should have been destroyed if they were not going to use it. That would have made the decision. instead, illogically, she left a large perfect truck in the middle of the road (advetisment) and just left it there, didn't kill the owner. The problem here is that we expect the movie to be different, but the terminators are creatures of function, of logic, of deduction, of mission and sould do things not based on what is the more logical to kill john or kate or to complete the mission, nt based on what the viwers is bored of seeing. The terminator folow similar paths of reasoning.. which is why the t-800 can predict the movements and decsisions of the other terminators...they were likely based on his cpu desisgn (not t-1000) so i think at the risk of being predictable the truck was begging to be stolen. I liked the variey of cars that were taken (except the hearse) especially the rv and the monster truck and the fire truck and the crane) i like the crane scene, i liked the bathroon fight scene. I liked the srtrealing of the raised truck. thats about it though.
although the crane scene was cool and the other cars being controlled by the nanobots was ok i guess, i still think they were trying to out do the other 2 movies and in the end didnt really have creativity, in t1 i remeber the car park scene and arnie hunting them in it, pure thrill, scared the heck outta ya, t2 with the truck and arnie climbs on to it...stick a gun thru the windscreen and emptys a clip into the t1000 hahahah how frickin cool is that!!! i love that scene so much, everytime a truck bothers me on the highway i wanna do that, honestly!!!
Actually in the T3 Comic-
The T-X quickly and easily defeats a T-1000. Using a couple of shots of her Plasma Cannon.
It just peels him inside out...and wipes out a good section of his liquid metal...literally.
Gone.
In the end there's not enough to form back into a machine...the T-1000 just reverts to its puddle form and dies.
These scenes happen before the T-X goes back in time.
