Amen...

I think we are watching 24 jump the shark right now.

We have lost: Palmer, Michelle, Edgar, Lynn, Tony

Sure we have Jack still, but the only other character I have as a favorite is Chloe. That's it.

Thank heaven for Kim's departure...what a whiny poo. Audrey and Bill are boring. Curtis is an okay up-and-comer, and Mike is the only saving grace in the administration.

Everyone one else can go to hell for all I care. Plus, the terrorists this time around are certainly not as interesting as the past seasons. They have no real character.

Next week will either be the Jump the Shark episode, or I'm wrong.

Amagad......saddest part....when that security guard was talking to his daughter before he died ❌

As much as I love 24, I think I would have to agree. There doesn't seem to be much action this time around, and the characters aren't all that interesting.

I am guessing that this might be the last Season for 24, unless they somehow find a way to bring it back for another day ( Day 6 ).

I am holding onto the possibility that there will be something to catch us all off guard and regain our interest !

No character but Jack has ever been safe one 24 no matter how main a character they are. Granted not always do so many big names bite it. But a lot of them were people who were not really involved anymore, plus they had said before this season started there would be a lot of deaths. I dont think this is jumping the shark at all.

Killing off a lot of big main characters in a single season has more to do with poor writing and having a lack-lust overall plot than a character having something to do.

That's what makes creativity so cool...you can do anything. Here they have lame ass villians, so the only thing left to do is hook everyone by resorting to killing off the coolest characters.

If this season was written the way Season Four was, they would have a much more engaging story by this point. The only engaging point has been the death of the main characters and the President's inept ability to do anything more than pee standing up.

In EVERY other season, the terrorists were main characters. They had history, drama, and were engaging. They certainly aren't here.

Plus I'm a bit tired of the politics over CTU and who calls the shots. District or CTU...now we have Homeland Security or CTU. Its all the same thing.

I agree, the villian SUCKS this season. Story isn't as good as seasons past! 🙁

P.S. until Monday and they say for sure he's dead, Almeida is ALIVE as far as I am concerned.
NO SILENT CLOCK!!!

If hes alive, how do they revive him

Well, Jack was calling for help...

I don't know what to think about this season anymore. I must agree that this Season's villians are not at all that interesting. Just because they couldn't assasinate the Russian President, now they have called vengence upon the US? Geez, I mean how dedicated are these people? If they can get to our own President ( who in my mind and opinion is a complete idiot ), why can't they get to the Russian?

Sure, the Syntox gas is a scary thought if it is going to be released, but didn't we already deal with something along these lines in the 3rd Season and the Hotel that had to be locked down due to the Virus?

True there are similarities to the virus, but this is pretty quick killing stuff. Not as gruesome as the virus, but pretty damn bad.

But I think you bring up some really good points about the villians and the plot. There better be some redeeming going on.

Geez, I mean how dedicated are these people?

Amen!

In watching the episode again, and again, and again, and again. The ending was AMAZING!! The music, the acting, EVERYTHING was so WELL DELIVERED! It's always get to me when Jack/Keifer breaks down and cry i.e. end of the third day. 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

"She's gone Jack"

I think you are all missing the greater machinations of the villainy; it's not going to be a simple case of the Russians' revenge. The vice-president and the Defence Department will all be involved in it. Just wait and see...

It the VP or Department of Defense is involved, it wouldn't be any better. That would just be another plot line recycle.

I see you're a fan of italics, which is nice. Any reason for it? I'm sure you are aware that 'defence' is the British spelling of the word...

How would it be a recycle of a plot-line? It's more of an extension. Silly boy.

Nice episode last night, that one chick that sold them the stuff or w/e SHES FUKING HOT AS FUK! 💃 ✅

Hey...no I didn't know that 'Defence' was the British spelling...Cool, learn something new every day.

If the DOD was involved, headed by the VP...it would feel a bit like Season Two with Roger Stanton doing naughty things with Coral Snake team and the VP trying to unseat Palmer.

Last night was kinda...dumb.

I could go on and on...but no one seems to care where RoboCop ran off too...and he just killed Tony. But they probably let him go because no one noticed Tony got killed...business as usual...and no one cares for poor Almeida, but we certainly are reminded of Edgar.

Whatever...its a bit lame, and I don't think too highly about the Audrey twist at the end either.

I think the audry twist was great actually, well if its true (NINA MEYERS WHAT?!)

They better have a damn good explanation for it... It's just not in her character to do something like that... Why would she go through all that trouble going behind Lynn's back to help Jack if she was in on it the whole time?

I really hope the writers know what they're doing...

Unless it was someone posing as Audrey...

Because this other chick seemed to act as if they had met face to face. If that is the case, it should be pretty easy to get to the bottom of it and find out what building the next attack is.

I DO NOT think Audrey is a baddie. Nor would another spy inside CTU be a good plot point EVER AGAIN!

i disagree....moles and traitors are always juicy imo. audrey being that traitor would be TOTALLY unexpected...about as unexpected as you know who, who and who all dying.
