What exactly does Heroes have to do with anything? And most things on TV are better than Heroes, thats not saying a lot.

Great 1st hour. Ok, second hour.

I just wish they nip the "Jack going rogue chasing a lead" in the ass. How many times do they do it...must be 5 times a season.

My prediction is that the US president is the target.

Again...

man oh man, great two hours..

will continue to watch

Ah, another dumbass CTU Director.

When will they learn. There is a trend if they looked into Jack Bauer's history - When people don't listen to Jack, shit happens.

Anyone who is involved with domestic intelligence/CT and doesn't know about Jack's legendary track record isn't worth anything. I don't think anyone has had more experience or more attuned instincts than Jack Bauer. For Brian Hastings (who I assume is his junior in age and experience) to dismiss Jack's advice like that was so stupid, I dunno how he got the job.

On another note, Allison Taylor will be on my official hate-list if she doesn't side with Jack this season. He proved beyond doubt that he was reliable last season.

Also, not meaning to complain so much, but I really don't dig the whole new look of CTU. Doesn't look very practical. For example, access to the armory takes like 8 seconds. What if there was an emergency? Thats way too long to wait.

Ok /end rant...

Aside from that, I'm looking forward to this season!

Oh, and Teri is adorable =]

I want Jack Bauer to become director!

Last season two hr opener was better, I think this one didnt have that great edge and suspense.

I read somewhere that "CTU boss Brian Hastings may go down as the biggest, most clueless toolbag in 24 history". If thats the case then the actor did an awesome job because he nailed it!

I think Freddie Prinze's character knew who Jack was. Wouldnt be surprised if Jack is his idol/role model. As for the armory, it couldve been because he had just gotten access. Hopefully it doesnt take that long.

That little girl was too adorable. Very likeable girl. I liked her interactions with Jack.

Im giving Taylor the benefit for now. One thing the annoyed me was the russina guys accent. Its like he was trying too hard.

Overall it was great to see Jack back even though that the two hours were kind of slow which is understandable since Jack was fully retired by then.

Two more hours tonight! Yay!

It was Prinze's character, but the geeky pilot drone/computer hacker guy who didn't know Jack. Granted, if he was a geeky computer hacker/guy, he might not know him.

Yea apparently this may be the last season.

I know I'd love to see Jack in the CTU Director role as well, but after years of suffering, I think I like more to see him with his family at the end.

Hey imagine if they killed him off in some dramatic self-sacrificial way (like to save Kim or something). You think they have the balls?

Probably not. Especially if the season does well. I heard there was suppose to be a movie or something.

Wasn't Jack the director in the first season?

The season premiere was good. Can't wait for tonight's episode.

Don't think so. I believe it was George Mason.

Although Jack was director of Field Ops at one time.

I find 24 is missing its thrills this year so far...I like the suspense and there is none.

WOW...Renee is fcking nuts and I wonder what Dana's secret is....why her old BF is around.

Ahh yes, I remember know.

Anywhoo,

I was hoping they do something completely new for the season. Something different. This is very similar territory.

He was Director first season.

George Mason was Director part of 1st and 2nd season.

Jack was Director of Field OPs 3rd Season and Tony was the Director.

Also....Adam Monroe from Heroes is on 24 WOOT!

I hope he can heallll!
