Hassan had to die, he hit Jack.

ROFL.

I liked what they did to Hassan, not that I disliked him, but the writers had the balls to do it. It makes the show more realistic, that Jack although a most impressive agent, can't always save the day with stupid plot devices you usually see in other shows or films.

Guess they can scrap that immunity deal with Dana.

Hassan was totally deserving of the silent clock in my opinion. Not so much because of who he was, but rather the shocking nature of his death, the emotional impact on both the viewers and the characters, as well as the political implications that came with it.

It was about more than money, remember, Jack said she was hiding something.

IIRC she mentioned a few times to the terrorists when she was communicating with them that she had done/was doing all that they had originally made her/were "making" her do, suggesting that her actions were being forced in some way.

Wow. I had a feeling Renee would bite it but I didn't expect it so soon (it was pretty clear that something grim was about to go down though). The episode started off a little slow but what a great finish.

She definitely deserved a silent clock.

Spoiler:
Renee dies

😠 😠 😠 😠 😠 😠 😠 🙁

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
Oh well, they in some s**t now! Now Jacks pissed!

yeah sad that renee bought it.. the russkies best watch out...

Who gives a shit about Renee anyway? The greatest character to ever grace this show with his presence is back baby!

They just unleashed the full on I care about nothing version of Jack Bauer now. Back to back silent clocks, I did not expect them to drop Renee, Jack can never be happy I guess. At least this silent clock was really deserved.

Think they could possibly do a silent clock for every remaining episode of the series?

No, not that many people left they could kill that would deserve it.

Once again, a great episode. Logan really ups the quality of the show. That being said, I was not a fan of President Taylor. Not so much because of the acting, but more due to the writing. It seemed out of character for her to disregard the Russian conspiracy. Hell of a cliffhanger though.

Jack is about to kill Russia.

go go go jack

Now with only 5 episodes left its just Jack on his own. No Chloe to back him up (unless she already is). I'm hoping for a Tony Almeida appearance before a series is done but I highly doubt it'll happen.

I hope Kevin Dillon and the cougar make another appearance.

Oh how I miss thee.

If anyone needs to make an appearance, it's Aaron Pierce.

And Wayne Palmer.

Pretty sure Jack is going to ride into Moscow on the cougars back and kill them all.

Logan really ups the quality of the show.

That he does.

Make way for Audrey
