If I had a dime for everytime people used the JLU cartoon as a "reliable" resource....

The cartoon Flash is NOTHING like the comic Flash. Even their personalities are different.

Johnny Quick is from the CSA. The Flash (Jay Garrick) is from the JSA.

The comic book Flash is MUCH smarter than the cartoon. Personally I really don't like Kurt Besiek's run on the JLA. Every character is completely out of character. The Flash acts very stupid. Wonder Woman talks like like an airhead.

the JLU cartoon character are really weak ass , i guess it is better that way.

its a shame to think that the flash can beat spiderman. Personally, I think Spiderman would come out victorious in this battle. Spidey is not as fast as the Flash but he is quick phisically and mentally. As with the Flash he has no tome time think because he's moving so fast therefore increasing his chances for a mistake. And Spidey would take advantage of this.

If Flash didn't think in proportion to his speed, he'd be long dead from running into things at 1000's of miles per second....

It doesn't matter how fast Spidey is, physically or mentally. Compared to Flash, Spidey is moving at the speed of a snail.

Imagine that you are in a fight. The person that you are fighting isn't moving at all - they're standing there like a statue. You could walk up to them and slap them, pull their trousers down, tie their shoe laces together - whatever you wanted and they couldn't stop you.

One of those is Flash. One is Spidey.

The Flash isnt omnipotent. Spidey would find a way to beat him because he just cunning like that. He would definetely know about the Flashes power and as usualy spidey will find a flaw, and expose it. Defeating the Flash. The Flash has been defeated before by foes that were way weaker than Spiderman.

You'd think so huh? But then why aren't darkseid's punches in slow motion when Superman is fighting him? (Superman has super speed and reflexes and can re-act a little slower than the flash). Face it, DC got pretty ridiculous and made the speedster idea too powerful that it's never been consistent.

I guess for the board's sake, spiderman has no chance. But they could def write it so spiderman wins and have it be believable
