Pai Mei

He really was a great addition to the movie. I really like his spontaneous laughter outbursts.

I guess Elle could've made it up about killing Pai Mei so that Beatrix dies thinking her master was dead, but she certainly had a good reason for doing it though.

I wonder if all of D.I.V.A.S. were train by Pai Mei? Seems like Bill is very profesional when it comes to training his assasins.

the only other DVAS that i could imagine being trained by pai mei is o-ren ishii. budd is a straight up cowboy. he prolly can't unsheath his hanzo without getting cut... but that's another point.

Im sure he was good with his sword at one time, considering Bill asked him if he kept up on his swordplay.

Also Green could have been. She's the deadliest woman with a knife.

Ya know, I hear somewher that Tarantino did the voice of Pai Mei? Can any of you guys confirm that?

Tarantino did indeed cast himself to play Pai Mei and even went through with the martial arts training, but after pre-production he decided on giving the part to Gordon Liu. I think he only cast himself so he could get the training.

Actually he would train her. She is half Japanese and half Chinese. He is also not very fond of caucasians yet he still trained the bride.

Pei Mei is great.The way he plays with his beard, and his evil laughs are brilliant.

I loved Pai Mei, he was so freaking hilarious 😆

When bill tells the story of him and the shaloin monks, he sets it as being over 1000 years ago.
