New War of the Worlds movie?

Does anyone know any info about the 2 other War of the Worlds movies that have been released. Anyone seen them yet?

I avoided the 2nd (looks like crap), and Blockbuster didn't have the first.

I was just so glad to finally see amovie where tim cruise runs and screams like a little girl for 2 hours.

Well there were some Mistakes in the movie one big one which made me mad is how come only one car out of the whole movie that works is the car that that the characters got into.

uhh... were you even paying attention? They had to replace something in the van to get it going. That's why it's the only one that works...

There's one thing I don't get:

a plain crashes on the house they're in with their car just outside the house. Magically, the car is just fine while all the rest in the area is trashed.

I also thought they had a LOT of luck. Like when they first appear and start 'zapping' people, they never hit Tom while they hit people in front of his nose, next to him,...

Robbie is fine..lol

I'm sorry, but if I had those kids that were in the movie I think I'd just let them die.

Not satisfied with this movie in general. The ending's all ****ed up.

In the whole onslaught, noone hit the bottom of the ships? Tom Cruise is just conviently there to point it all out. I know hes the main character and all, but atleast try to create some suspense. This guy just shits out ideas. You get no sense of mortality here.

The humans are'nt supposed to win, anyway.

Well the part about robbie is a bit unexplainable but the bit about the tripods is

the humans took down 1 yes. but it wouldve come down anyway. just because ray/tom took down 1 doesnt mean "the control pod is destroyed" ther bacteria in the air that they breathed took em down. were immune to it but the newcomers arent so it killed them.
