Firstly Parker it's Elektra. I still don't get your affinity for misspelling film titles.

Secondly, no we don't have low standards. We think Spider-Man ruled, you think it was some apocalyptic sin of a movie. We think Elektra was absolute shit, you love it.

I think in comparison you are the one with low standards. You don't have high standards just because Spider-Man didn't appeal to you. You hate that movie for a very very silly reason, no shhh...don't argue with the monitor, it's true. You clearly have low standards because you liked Elektra. Nothing more than Marvel's version of Mortal Kombat, it's a cash-in. Nothing more.

I just voiced my opinion that hating Spider-Man with a consuming passion yet saying Elektra was great, is rather sad. An opinion. Pull your tighty whities out of your butt and stop being so bitey about every opinion that happens to be aimed at you.

and personaly I didnt like Spider Man, the first one was ok but I hated the second one, of course spiderman's 1000 times better than catwoman though, but not as half as good as Elektra

Ahhh, what the hell.... ok, Catwoman was allllright, not great, but i can stare at Halle all day long. Jennifer G.. good looking... alright in the Alias show, and though i said that i would comment after i saw it..., it is a spin-off from one of the worst movies ever made...DD. Spiderman... great movie. part 2 was ok enuff for me to look forward to 3 and hope that they come with it.
All in all, the comic book movies have been right at the water line.. and if they keep flooding the market some great titles are going to start off as Titanic specials...doomed to drown. Remember how they flooded the market with natural disaster movies in the 90's and we're right back to them in the mid 00's? It is only going to get worse while there are producers and directors out there who think that they know what we want to watch before we do. I am not cattle, and don't appreciate getting steered!!

This is thread is to discuss Elektra so I will be brief with this exactly.organics=man-spider, mechs=spider-man.some people here dont get it though and it just goes through one ear and out the other when trying to explain it to them though,but AGAIN this is about the elektra movie not the man-spider films so like i said earlier,lets please keep the topic on the elektra movie and leave the discussion about the man-spider movies over in the spider-man section and talk about the Elektra film here.as I said earlier,unlike last year which had nothing but horrible comicbook films,this year looks like a great year for comicbook films especially since we were given a great film to start off the new year with Elektra and hollywood FINALLY made an awesome comicbook film. 🙂

In a attempt to get people to discuss the Elektra film again here is my post from previously that addressed the movie.and like said earlier,anybody except for the two posters I mentioned earlier, I will listen to what all you have to say about this review.

The action in it was great,non stop most the time with one great scene after another.It had a very good script and very good story built around it as well. It wasnt a 2 hour flick but if it was as short as Daredevil was- and maybe it was since it was a short film,I did not notice because I agree with Elecktra Lover,its even better than Daredevil.It was very well directed and written well as well.Great storyline.Sure there were some unbelieveable things in it such as the bird coming out of that guys body and becoming a real bird but hey!! its just a comicbook film,its not a documentary,so thats acceptable.I sure hope like crazy they make an Elecktra 2 because hollywood FINALLY after all these years,FINALLY delivered a great comicbook film.Kudos to Jennifer Garner for her amazing and believeable performance she gave and to the director who put this film together.Great flick.

Your review was just that, a review. An opinion of someone who liked Elektra (stop spelling the movie names wrong). I could write that much about why I didn't like it.

One thing that struck me was how willing you were to give the nod to things in THAT movie that didn't follow comic book story but when everything in Spider-Man was on point save for the web shooters and maybe a lack of humour, you damn it to Hell.

Slightly contradictory.

Replace 'slightly' with 'very' and 'contradictory' with 'hypocritical'.

I thought the Elektra movie was just a big budget, CGI fest designed to (and apparantly successful in) take the audience attention away from the fact that there are no good storylines or dialogue. Jennifer Garner's unconvincing portrayal of a rather well known comic book character was completely boring and as a result, the film tried to fall back on it's merry band of misfit bad guys to compensate. Unfortunately for them, I'm not impressed by guys with snakes coming out of them nor an I impressed by, as pleasant as it was, Jennifer Garner in a very nice outfit. It takes more than that to make a movie. Hence why every other comic book movie of RECENT years beats it hands down. Besides Catwoman of course.

Instead of removing one of the worst aspects of Daredevil, they made her a solo movie.

Really, i cant give an opinion because i havent planed to see elecktra. I dont interest for the character alone too much. I preffer elecktra with daredevil , in a movie alone it lacks of interest. Also, i think that jennifer garner wasnt the best choice for play elecktra, as ben afleck wasnt. But im much more interested in batman begins and fantastic four, for talking about comic movies.

All you ever do is insult people when they dont agree with you and then claim like you are mr innocent and not insulting people.
