hey there! some of you might have seen me on the hp forum (which is not why i came to this post cause it is totally different 🙂 ) anyway, i have never seen a ghost or anything unusual (sorry), but i believe in ghosts just the same. also, i am nowhere near as informed on that topic as y'all are, but very interested in it. i love hearing other poeple's experiences as well. i'm just so curious about this topic that we know so little about and have a lot of respect for the supernatural. i don't doubt it has something to do with fear of the unknown as well.
a lot of rambling, just wanted to say, "hey, i'm here, i believe in it and have much respect for it, but know nothing 🙂 "
gonna post one or two more but wanna keep it short
while i was still living in germany my husband and i had very good friends there and we would spend lots of nights at their house. they told us many times that there is a ghost living in this house and even that their daughter has seen the boy (ghost) too. even tho they were really good friends i'm still not sure if it wasn't just "storytelling" . but it seemed very real and their story never changed. one night the four of us (my hubby and i and our 2 friends) were in the living room and their daughter was asleep on the couch in the same room . we were talking about the boy again, and like i said , i am very interested in that. maybe i was hoping or expecting to see something, but when we were getting ready to go to bed and walked down the hall, the kids bedroom is at the end of the hall and the door is always open. i look inside and see that someone is sleeping in their daughter's bed. i knew their daughter was asleep in the living room. the look on my face must have been priceless! i was scared as he**! i started backing up right into my husband who was behind me and they said i turned really white. but like i said in the post above, i have never seen a ghost and this was just a girl they were babysitting that night (daughter of 2 other friends).
guess this time i just wanted to say that even tho i am very interested in ghosts i doubt i would ever wanna see one. i was never that scared in my life. i believe i was fully expecting to see a ghost and so i did (in my imagination). they always described the boy as friendly tho and said their daughter had seen him as well and she's not afraid of him. even tho this wasn't real i will never forget it
k, i had to come back again real quick cause i wanted to say i feel kinda stupid posting all this 🙁. i haven't really got anything interesting to add to this thread . i'll keep reading it tho.

I'll set aside my usual scientific approach to the ghost phenomena on this one, to reply Impatientinky. As in this case people are said to have seen a detailed image of a ghost, and are not just experiencing abnormal feelings and/or seeing unexplainable but vague things. Things like this keep me open minded for the possibility of ghosts.
Saying for now, again, that ghosts are real. I'd say they only appear to people for particular reasons. Simple actually, or we would be seeing ghosts every-were and they already would be an accepted part of this world, right?
I am therefore most interested in any information the boy ghost has given to the living in that house. But if it would have expressed specific wishes, I'm sure the story above would include those. It being friendly as well gives me the idea that the spirit of this boy has returned after death to his most favorite place on earth, his own house. Just to do and be what ever he wants, as any kid desires.
Him making contact with your friends could be explained by a kids natural desire for attention but there might be more to it.
I'm not gonna start about heaven, hell, the afterlife and all now, as to explain 'lost souls', just want to post my view on why the ghost could be there.
You seem quite interested, so maybe you could find out about previous inhabitants of that house, and of course if there are any now deceased boys among those. Do that just to give yourself clarity, do not confront the ghost with any found information. His awareness is uncertain, coming face to face with the truth might freak him out.
I understand your fear of ghosts, I myself would be pretty scared if I ever came across one. But let's not forget the human natural fear of the unknown, and eventually I know very little ghost stories ending up with somebody getting hurt (and I know many). Real people are far more scarier.
And as I think, if a ghost decides to reveal it self to you, it will. That won't be your decision. You just decide what to do with the experience.
My 3 sisters said when they were younger they saw a ghost but i have 2 brothers and we have never seen it before..can you explain that? and my sister said that she has seen a ghost that walks up and down our stairs, i have never seen it either, but I have seen something but it was just a white blob. I have never seen a clear image of a ghost. Which comes to my next question. Is it all in our heads that ghosts are for real, that our eyes just decieve us and it tells our brain that there is something out there but there isn't? Another thing. Have any of you seen the Science Channel, they were talking about Ghosts on there and how they exsist maybe. They said it could be just in our heads, that WE could be making images with our minds, and moving stuff around aka Poltergeist, and they asked can the mind be that powerful? To make all of this happen?

I cannot say for sure ghosts are real on not. If I, just for a year studying the subject, could answer that, the truth would be known already.
I do have possible explanations for your ghost. Read my review of the hypersound theory a page back. this can explain seeing a blurry 'object' which might be 'mistaken' for a ghost by your sisters. Especially if this happened at a young age when imagination can overrule common sense, making them think it was a ghost. If they have seen a detailed figure however, that I can't explain.
Concerning images in the mind, you are partially right. It's actually not the eyes deceiving the brain, but visa versa. the image you see of anything is coming from your brain, the eyes just provide input. So the brain can alter these images making what you see not necessarily what really is there. The brain alters vision under the influence of chemicals and hormones, made by your own body under certain circumstances or taken in, like drugs.

You might be right, never the less I find this a fascinating subject. Since ghosts-stories are quite common around the globe, I'm interested in what it was that fooled the witnesses eyes, in case they are mistaken. For me, I have read some freaky ghost-stories and I'd like to find out the explanation for those (in case they were'nt lies of course).
I haven't got a dog named Scooby, but I'm curious about the truth behind all this anyhow (not that I am really studying my butt of on this), beats finding the greatest prime for me.
And since you are so sure stating that ghosts are merely lies or misjudgements, maybe you can add some proof to that. Say, just to help my research...

I'm sure such a spell would 'exist', but would it work? Do you really believe in magic? It being real or not, it still requires faith and devotion.
And are you sure that, if magic is real, you want to manipulate a loved one with it to meet your desires? How would you eventually feel about the fact that this person is merely interested in you because of some spell, and not because her likings towards yourself, as a person?
I would advise to use more common measures on this...
Try working on this from another angle. Not by forcing her (I assume) to ask what you please by uncertain measures, but by working on that courage instead, yourself in fact.
Seek the best in yourself, improve where-ever necessary and become assured that you right for this person. Build up confidence about yourself, it will show and then courage grows along with that confidence.
If this seems impossible, no spell will assure you of a future with this person anyhow.
Relationships are based on mutual love, respect and admiration, not on tricks and deception.
Since you liked this person for quite a while it seems, you must know certain interests, desires and such about her. Use that information, and do more 'research' if you are not sure. Just get friendly with her, find out her desires and meet them if you can.
Her taste of food, music and films can already provide you with an excellent plan for a date to propose to her. All you need to do is to dare. If you succeed, and have the confidence about yourself, you can show her how interesting you are for real, no magic hat involved.
Be patient, but do not cherish the hope she'll ask you first, at the looks of your situation now that won't happen. Turn the tables then!
The best 'magic' proved to me is the love between people and that has more sparks then any wizard can produce.

Yeah, it is kinda hard to tell if Ghosts are real or not. I have seen this show though about these people believing that there is a haunting in the house and like this one guy took a picture of his friend and there was all these white spots all over and there was writing on the camera like help me or hello something like that. But it stopped haunting them for probably like 3 years and then another of this guys friends came over and talked about it and asked for him to take a picture of him to see if anything happened, and it did, it started happening again. But who knows what it was....I don't know if ghosts are real or not, I guess we all should start wearing infered goggles or glasses to see beyond our naked eyes and see if we can see any appearances.
Ive neva acctaully seen a ghost/spirit/wateva but at my old home (we swapped with our friends) whislt we were visiting friends we were just sitting and watching TV. It was just a normal night, there wasn't any wind/breeze/ect and none of the windows or doors were open. On top of there entertainment unit they had a few pot plants. I wasn't really watching the TV coz it was some boring show that i can't even remember wat it was about! Anyway 1 of the pot plants on the thing spun around half way! My mum and our friends saw it 2. My mother said **** out of shock and her friend informed us that it was her brother (who had died a few years back) and that it always happend. They had many cases of things being knocked of shelved and things like that as well.
Another of my mums friends mother was murdered by her father when she was only a child and earlier on this year she herd what she thinks was her mother calling her from outside her window but when she looked out she no 1 was there.
Her husband has acctaully seen a ghost in the house but he (at the time) had thought it was his son and told him 2 piss of only 2 find him fast asleep a few seconds l8er
