Linkin Park

They realeased their first single in 2000... So? They've been around since '97 or so. And why should I care if you've liked rock since 1996? What does that mean, that you're right about LP being a good band? It means nothing... I could go around talking about how great RATM is, because I'm older than you so I have to be right. See what I mean? It's ridiculous.

Anywho... I can't remember when I got into rock, they weren't the only band, there were other pop rock bands like blink and Green Day, too... But frankly, if you're trying to get into a competition about who's liked rock longer, that's just lame.

I HATE Linkin Park!!!!They suck!!!!!!!What they call music is just dumb noise!!!!

Well, there's another band that's a little like Linkin Park, but with a female singer... Damn, I can't think of the name... What was that band called again?

kinda harsh...but i agree...half the time "bring me to life" is mistaken as having Chester Bennington doing the backup vocals for Amy Lee (thats her name rite?)
so the two are compared all the time..

dude, who gives a shit if your older than me. i can guarantee you that i know way more about rock, punk, and metal, then you will ever know. and by the way, ive liked rock since i was 5, you probably got into it like a long time after me.

This coming from a person who thinks Metallica was the most influential band of all time. Really? More influential than the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Chuck Berry, The Grateful Dead, and Faith No More? I think not.

So, in closing, the reason I'm getting irritated with you is because you're acting like an immature little brat. Grow up a little, and I'll quit flaming you.

ok, i have a few things i want to say. i dont even kno what the hell this website is, and i dont really ****ing care. i was just lookin for pictures of LP on google and i come across this mass of bullshit. you all gotta ****in chill with the insults on LP. to the ass that said "Their drummer sucks, Chester cant sing, etc." what the hell are you talking about? theres one DJ, MR. Hahn. you all are ****in crazy. LP is better than most of the other bullshit that is played, and in my opion, the best band in the whole damn world. but why the hell are you bombing on them like this?Chester and Mike have the best lyrics in the ****in music world, Robs drums made me want to take drum lessons, Brad and Phoenix's guitar and bass are powerful, how the hell are you saying its like N Sync? and Mr. Hahn keeps it all together with the turntablism. and on top of all that, they are really nice guys. you wont find a friendlier group. but the lyrics are powerful, soothing, and touching all at once, and Chester and Mikes vocals are the best there is, theres no one else better. i dont care how long youve listened to rock, if you want your regular sensless song like Metallicas Sandman, take it, but if u want inspirational lyrics that saves lives, such as my own, listen to Linkin Park

Now onto your post, I like LP but they are not a great band and barely average. Wanna know why listen to their songs closely because almost all their songs will go something like this.

"IM SO PISSED OFF, SOMETHING IS DRIVING ME CRAZY, IM ABOUT TO EXPLODE INSIDE OF ME, EVEN THOUGH IM NOT SURE WHAT IT IS, UH UH UH SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!"

Pretty much thats what all their songs are like.
