I personally think Zach is an excellent screamer, but the studio stuff didn't capture his ability very well. You had to see him go off live.

I like Chino's voice 😛 and Zack is a very good screamer. Maynard's 26 second long scream on The Grudge, though....damn. I tried imitating that and got dizzy 😮

Chino is a very hit or miss kind of vocalist. Some people hate him, some people love him. Personally, I used to really like his stuff but I got out of it really quick.
That scream on The Grudge was very impressive though. I heard a live bootleg a while back of him doing that song... it was unbelievable.
Man almost ANYONE is a better screamer than Chester...
The Grudge scream is a contender for best scream ever...
But Opeth has a really nice one (I forget which song, Ithink its off Orchid though) where is a mellower guitar lick, and the vocals come in with a low growl and just build up to this huge shiver inducing awesome-ness...
And the music jsut goes nutso there too...

Exactly. Chester is a lousy screamer, yet his fans pour all over him because he puts all he has in it. Despite the fact that there are many better screamers who also put all they have into it. It's all a matter of exposure and how the media works. They hear the stuff on TV and they're satisfied with it.
Also, yes Mike Akerfeldt is an impressive screamer. It's really cool how he combines those screams with his death metal growl.
