Frankly, I can understand why some people choose to shrug at it all, and pretend not to care. Most normal people (and that’s all of us around here) can’t do that much anyways to change the state of things such as the Earth, vanishing rainforest, pollution of the oceans, lands and air, extinction of species, war, famine and disease.

However, I think it’s wrong to accuse the entire human species of being evil and unwilling to do anything. A lot of the normal people donate money to charity and UN-organisations, the Red Cross, Amnesty and what have you.
It’s those in charge who’re to blame. They’re the ones who don’t do enough to change the state of the planet. They are – after all – the once who have the power to do so.
